Wow tiger woods went off today -8

I just threw it out there to let people draw their own conclusions. But in my opinion, and trust me, I want to like the guy because I think he's great for the sport and I love golf, but the list is stacking up against him.

Steroids, many people who deal with him say he's an asshole in person, cheating on a really gorgeous wife who just had their kid, with what, 16 women? And now not talking to his family after they try and get a hold of him for 6 years. A brother who has no money and is dying of MS and gets nothing from a guy with millions at his disposal? It's really hard to pull for this guy, as much as I'd like to....

In Tigers defense.... If you're going to count how many women he banged, I mean isn't one just as bad as 16?

It amazes me that we care about his personal life, just go out and win the masters in record breaking -20 par fashion and i'll still like him..

Everyone is so infatuated in what he does off the course, who cares, just enjoy what he does on the course and thank him for bringing golf back to what it's become today...

I agree. I catch shit all the time for liking Tiger. Look I'm a golfer and I love watching Tiger play at his best. I'm not on this earth to judge father of the year or husband of the year. I want to spend it watching someone with amazing talent use it to the best of his ability. When I turn the tv off on Sunday I don't give a rats ass what the hell Tiger Woods does that night.

Guys, I think the thing you don't understand with our thinking, or mine at least, is that i am a golfer too and i also LOVE watching Tiger play ....... Just like you guys have both said.

I rarely watch golf when Tiger isn't playing. When he is, i check in on every Tournament.

The difference is I can love watching him play and I can get caught up in the aura as well. I just do not like "Rooting" for him every week just because he is good. Many like "Rooting" for people who havn't given them reasons not to. Nobody is perfect but when you get guys with the off course history that Tiger has, you feel like you have a good idea of what kind of person he is and when you see some of these other guys, like his competition, you don't see that. If my options on Sunday are rooting for a kid like Rory who just seems to love life, people and everything else ... OR ... a guy like Tiger just because he is great, many choose the greatness and many others choose the guy.

I can respect that. If I had to choose I would like nothing more to see Phil and Tiger be tied on 18 and Phil make a putt to win. And honestly I would rather Rory win this week then anyone out there.Thats kid is outstanding and has so much talent it aint even funny. But if Tiger slips on that green jacket it won't bother me one bit either. I hope it's one of the 3 and if they don't I hope it's one of the other guys I bet
