I was browsing thru this funny thread and I am not going to get into the "SEC is the greatest" argument because I agree what was said by someone above - right now, in football, the SEC is the best conference BUT it goes in cycles. I remember years ago when Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Notre Dame, etc., were dominating like the SEC is now. But that will change like everything changes.

BUT I had to respond to Vols - that statement of " the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be" is not a Ric Flair quote - it is from Brett "the Hitman" Hart !"

if you aint first then you are last. i was just stating the fact the the Big 12 is a garbage league with little to none defense. thats why the offense appear to be good. there are a few big 12 homers here on this board that seems to think that their conference is the best, which clearly they are not.

I was trying to remember and it just seemed to fit Flair with a big WHOOOOOOOO behind it. Man I loved the old wrestling days. Me and Tech would start every Saturday night watching Superstars of Wrestling. I want to say that NWA was from 8-9,WWF 9-10,Texas with the Von Erics from 10-11 and then 11-12 was some of the small arenas like Jerry the King Lawler and stuff. And every once in a while at WWF would have Saturday Nights Main Event. Man that was awesome
