  • Move Over Brady Rodgers Now The NFL's Best Player

I can't remember the last time I even considered answering the question about the NFL's best player with any name other than Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. But, after watching Aaron Rodgers against the Broncos, there is a new name on top of my list.

Tom Brady was the unanimous MVP last year and I was one of the voters. But, as brilliant as Brady continues to be, Rodgers is the Super Bowl champion and is more mobile than Brady. Defensive coordinators have to play Rodgers the way they play Mike Vick -- he's that big of a dual threat.

i don't buy this for a minute, rodgers has many, many weapons he can throw to and brady has just some players on the field which would be worthless anywhere else.bradys games much more defined than rodgers and brady don't even rely on a number 1 rb to counter what he does

brady still the best if you ask me

I don't think many of the other 30 teams would have a problem taking either.

Rodgers has the greatest team in the NFL right now BUT Brady is still the best QB in the game. Mannings not playing so I can't include him

Arguing about Manning and Brady as who is best QB is an argument I don't think anyone will ever win. Unreal stats on both sides. Those two are WAY ahead of everyone else. Rodgers WILL be mentioned with those two one day but not now IMO.

manning isnt half as good a qb as brady. unless by manning you are referring to Eli. i'd even argue that rodgers already is better than #18.

18 and rodgers both have 1 SB. who has done more with all the surrounding talent......18 for the colts or rodgers with the pack?

I tend to agree, at this moment no one is playing better than Rodgers...coming off a championship as a 6th seed and with tons of injuries to his team, this year he has his team unbeaten...Brady has lost to bills this year and been knocked out last 2 playoff games at home...so as far as this moment I believe Rodgers is playing at a higher level, but still has a long way to go as far a career.

Also believe Manning's value is showing this year, with him out Colts have yet to win a game...when Brady was injured a few years back Cassel stepped right in and won 11 games.

Like I said I'm not arguing it. You see things one sided and would never give manning any credit. I'm saying both are great. You just say a bunch of bullshit to get people riled up. I;m not taking the bait

Some people just like to argue Ogarza. Dimer is the only person in America who thinks Peyton sucks.

This year kills your argument. What talent?

New England must have known what they were doing in letting Cassel go as the chiefs suck!

I remember the year Brady had no receivers that were big named etc. They had signed a bunch of no names like one from Oakland etc. Brady made them look like stars!

I remember Deion Branch signing a huge contract with Seattle and he didn't do nothing there! Now for some reason NE signed him back.

He's entitled to his opinion and I'm sure has his reasons...but Peyton is without a doubt one of the best of all time...he lacks the rings, but that's about it, his stats and winning % is awesome...basically changed how qbs play by being coach on field, calling plays, reading Ds then executing...then again this is my opinion and I'm sure plenty guys here disagree with my assessment.

Not sure what ur point was with this, but if you're saying Brady is great...I'd agree, never said anything bad about Brady, just used the injury year as a reference.
