Bowden was called up tonight for long relief and he pitched 63 pitches. He would probably be sent down to make room for Wagner and like i said, it is for 1 whole week. Something i'm not sure you thought about.

I agree as this doesn't make sense at all. He's throwing 96 MPH after that surgery and they waive him. Maybe he's having control issues. Or their worried he will hurt his arm again.

I also think he struck out 2 in a 1-2-3 inning in his 1st outing last night. Didn't seem to have any control problems.
