It doesn't get any better than 2 of the original 6 (Chicago vs Detroit) if the Red Wings win game 7. Should be very exciting. Kane is a BEAST!!!

The ball caused the net to move back towards the crowd. This means the ball was headed toward the crowd as well. No matter the rim or not, the ball's trajectory was toward the sidelines after BIG BABY TOUCHES IT, it lands in the paint AND BOUNCES STRAIGHT UP.

because I was curious about who runs the 24 second clock, according to the definitions, there are 2 timers, 1 official timer--game clock, and 1 24 clock timer. Snce they are not officials, I would say they are hired by teams, but are trained by the NBA. The reason I wanted to make sure it was not the 4th ref was as someone who coached HS hoops for years, and reffed at the HS level, clock operators are usually one of my fellow teachers picking up some extra cash, and many of them have no fuckin clue what they are doing (starting the clock without possession, etc) How many of us have watched college football games where we have the over and you see 3 seconds tick off the clock everytime the ball goes OB. As for who decides the clock violation here is the exact rule from rule 7

j. If there is a question whether or not an attempt to score has been made
within the 24 seconds allowed, the final decision shall be made by the officials.

Hey, you have your "Opinion" mavs. I've had GREAT debates with many guys here before you and i'll have great debates with many in the future as well. There's a difference between anger and passion. If I'm going to take time to discuss something for a couple hours, then YES. I'm going to care about it. I'm not pissed off one bit, but I care a hell of a lot about things, especially things concerning "my teams" or things I had money on. And this thread happens to be part of the latter. I have an opinion and it is called senseless. I explained my point further, and you decide afterwards your done with the argument. You wanna be done, fine.

Arguing with you isn't any fun either wayne. I already said it in that Calipari thread a while back. I'll refrain from talking to you in any of these threads. Somehow we always end up on opposite sides of each other. I don't like to argue with you. I'm happy to debate with all these guys about anything where we differ in opinion. So what if i thought your argument is senseless mavs? Seriously, so what? Are you going to lose sleep over it or not eat for days? Probably not so why does that bother you so much? Lighten up. If you were here or at a bar with me debating, i would probably tell you that you are fucken crazy instead. The difference is you would get my tone and see the smile on my face. I know i can't do or say that with "You" here because you would get all pissed off or offended. Why? Because you are defensive with everything that is said and you always think someone is out to get you. I've seen guys in several debates make a joke and you jump in saying "What does that mean".
