Living in TN and not really being a Tn fan, but a Bruce Pearl fan, I think this is great for the conference. I have always liked the RESULTS Coach C has achieved. I am a Georgia fan in Football, but a basketball fan in general. I liked Coach C when he was at Umass, and belive me, he will get it done!

"Kentucky paid Memphis a $200,000 buyout. The exact details of the contract will be revealed at Wednesday's news conference introducing the coach."
Now maybe we can put to rest the money Memphis spent on these few recruits and what they lost. It looks like Kentucky covered all of those fees for them. .

Nobody is arguing. It was written in the article at ESPN and since it seemed to be your biggest sticking point, i thought it should be noted. I actually laughed when i read it because it made me think of this debate. You can keep taking this serious all you want mavs, i'm not going to and never did. This thread was a great conversation/debate and i don't think anybody except you took anything personally. Have a good night!

The funny part mavs is if we had this same debate in the living room, i probably would have told you "You're fucken crazy" about 5 times ... but you would have seen me doing it with a smile on my face or while laughing. Most guys talk like that with people everyday off these forums. You get on here and nobody can see facial expressions so they either A) Assume the worst or B) Fire back and have some fun. Unfortunately you chose A the other night. Was i being sarcastic? No doubt, open up some threads because people do that with each other every day here. Hell, people do it to me all day at work and i'm just as bad as them. It's all in good fun man. Lighten up a little.

( After OU lost to UNC) Hey KB, your boys played a real good game last night.
Joking around is this:
LSU photoshopping some stuff, or making an Erin Andrews joke at UCONNplayer.
Your comment, was a poke at me, insinuating that I knew nothing about CBB. It's two different things Wayne. And if it had been a one time thing, I'd let it roll off, but in arguements and debates throughout my time here, I've noticed you talk down to people that way a lot, including me.
If you want to argue with me sure, if you want to tell me I'm wrong go ahead. I think we argued for 4 or 5 pages the other night, with no problem. What's even crazier is that I state my distaste for a comment like yours, and you tell me that you have no idea what I am talking about.
I have no problem with you Wayne, except when you make comments like "CBB doesn't have trades, Oh boy......" What did you expect my response to be??? "Oh really? I did not know that. Thanks for informing me Wayne!!" I'm not an idiot and I appreciate not be talked to as if I am one.
When I have a problem with something, I will say so, and I don't have a problem with much, I didn't like your comment and I said so. That is all.Last edited by mavskidd02; 04-01-2009, 06:55 PM."CFB YTD: 5-8-1 -16.2"

Whatever mavs. With those stipulations needed to talk with you, i have a feeling you will be offended by MANY in your time here. Once again, it is an internet chat room and if you are going to take people so seriously, you are in for alot of misery. I'll make sure to avoid your feathers because the last thing i want to do is ruffle them again. I tried in the posts about with smiles and everything but if you are still stuck on being miserable, i don't care, have at it.

DeMarcus Cousins is verbally committed, but hasn't signed a letter of intent.
John Wall hasn't even committed yet, but he said a number of times that Memphis was "leading".
So why did Henry sign with the Tigers? For the school or Calipari?
"For both," Henry said. "Coach Calipari was a big deal in that he was my coach. He was going to teach me everything. He was going to develop me during the years."
The rest of the players on hand were thrilled not to be in Henry's shoes. Picking a college is among the biggest decisions these kids have ever made, and for it to be thrown into chaos at this point is daunting. The general feeling among the All-Americans is that Henry and Cousins will leave Memphis if Calipari does -- Henry has it written into his letter of intent that he can leave if Calipari does, while Cousins' verbal commitment isn't binding. Most players agree they chose their schools based on the coach and would want to reconsider their options if he left.Three Jack's Record http://www.bettorschat.com/forums/sh...10#post1323910

Your statement, while being a joke, was a shot at me to insinuate I was stupid.
That and that alone is my problem, nothing more, nothing less.
I'm entitled to my opinion, and that's my take on the situation. Got no problem with you Wayne, just didn't like what was said, I felt insulted, so I told you so. Don't know how that is such a problem."CFB YTD: 5-8-1 -16.2"
