    Trading one high priced player for a 2nd round pick to then trade that for another high priced player. I still think they got screwed in the original trade.

      Chiefs sign offensive lineman Goff
      Veteran lineman Mike Goff has signed a free-agent deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. Terms of the contract announced Thursday were not disclosed. Goff has started 147 games during his 11-year career with the Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers, including the last 106 dating to October 2002. He's played for the Chargers since 2004. The Peru, Ill.-native started every game in his four-year college career at Iowa, and was a third-round draft choice of the Bengals in 1998.

      Saints sign safety Prioleau
      Free-agent safety Pierson Prioleau has agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints, who were looking to add depth in the defensive backfield. Terms of the deal announced Thursday were not disclosed. The 5-foot-10, 188-pound safety has played 10 years with the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Prioleau played all 16 games with the Jaguars last season, starting once.

            Both players signed by the Raiders are well worth it.Best Corner and Punter in the League.The Raiders had to pay a little more to secure both players.Both are good team leaders and deserved the money.If you look at free agency ,the Raiders have been pretty smart with there money this year...

              DE Daniels signs deal to return to Redskins
              Phillip Daniels signed a one-year contract to return to the Washington Redskins on Thursday. The 36-year-old defensive end missed the 2008 season when he tore a ligament in his left knee on the first day of training camp, prompting the Redskins to trade for Jason Taylor. The Redskins released Taylor at the end of the season and have since signed Renaldo Wynn.

                  Quarterback Jeff Garcia is returning to the Bay Area after agreeing to a deal with the Oakland Raiders. Raiders senior executive John Herrera told The Associated Press that the four-time Pro Bowler will join the club's offseason workout program immediately alongside starter JaMarcus Russell. Garcia spent the past two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, starting 24 games and leading them to the playoffs, but wasn't re-signed by the club.

                  Ravens re-sign CB Rolle to 4-year deal
                  Cornerback Samari Rolle has re-signed with the Baltimore Ravens for a four-year deal. The team said Rolle signed the contract on Monday after being cut last month. Terms weren't immediately available. A one-time Pro Bowl selection with the Tennessee Titans, Rolle intercepted three passes last season in 10 games. He missed several games with a neck injury that required surgery, and missed the AFC championship with an injured hip flexor.

                  LB June signs with Houston
                  Free-agent linebacker Cato June has signed with the Houston Texans. June, who spent the past two seasons in Tampa Bay, started 14 games last year and finished with 67 tackles and one interception. The 29-year-old spent four seasons with Indianapolis before signing with the Buccaneers. He made the Pro Bowl for the 2006 season when he helped the Colts to a Super Bowl win with a career-high 142 tackles.
