*2nd Comp Play for Super Saturday on: Charlotte E (NBA).

-Gotta favor the Bobcats in this one today as they should have more focus and motivation on their side today...Charlotte has a chance to put together their first 3 game winning streak, as well as, reaching 20 wins on the season also..and this means a lot for these players for the Bobcats....The Knicks played well their last game vs Cleveland, but that one was done in the spoiler role as they was facing the Cavs who are looking at the playoffs coming up...In this one, things are a little different as I cant see anything inspiring this Knicks squard like it did vs the Clevs on Thursday night as they won despite being outboarded 51 to 41 and also had 15 turnovers, and shooting a dismal 46% from the FT line....

New York has also already won 2 of 3 meetings this year....However they did lose at the Coliseum in December and only won by 3 pts at MSG in Feb....The Bobcats focused, motivated, and want this one more today..

*4th and Final Comp Play on Super Saturday on: San Diego -126 (Eaton ov Erickson)


-SD's Eaton seems to come up with more solid games vs the Dodgers then any other team he faced in his career so far...Vs the Dodgers he has posted an 8-2 Record with an 2.43 ERA, in his 16 career starts vs them...He is also undefeated with a 4-0 Record in his 8 starts at Dodger Stadium...and his ERA in these games at Dodger Stadium is an impressive 1.11.

LA's Erickson, on the other hand, is the veteran between the two pitcher's...and his age is definately starting to show signs of it...In his last game vs Zona, he was tagged for 4 HRs, 7 hits, 6 runs, in just 4 1/3 innings on the hill...He will also be making his Dodger home pitching debut today and will be facing the Padres for only the 2nd time in his career, while also pitching for the 1st time ever in Dodger Stadium as well.

SD's Eaton coming off of a win over the Cubs where he held them scoreless, while giving up just 4 hits and striking out 3, in 6 solid innings...Eaton know the Dodgers and he knows and loves to piay in this stadium and against them...Erickson, will be at a disadvantage here due to his struggles out the of the block, unfamiarity with this Padre lineup, and having to make his first ever start in a Dodger uniform, not to mention, in Dodger Stadium in front of the Home fans...The veteran should feel the pressure and I think he will get lit up again today as he simply just doesnt have it anymore, imo...The Dodgers off to a solid start on the year, but with Erickson on the hill tonight, I see this as good opportunity for the Padres to stop their 2 game slide...Eaton should outduel the veteran/rookie pitching tonight at Dodger Stadium...GL and Aloha CC.

Ok, disappointing loss with SD yesterday..Eaton stunk it up early, and the defense played poor as well...The Padres looked like they were sleep walking yesterday, which I have no reason as to why...But, we still ended going 6-2 Overall (MLB & NBA),...and today is yet another day, so lets continue to keep things rolling like it is....Starting the day off with these Two Bad Boy Comp Selections w/ their quick write-ups, taken from my Sunday's Card I played and released to my clients......GL and Aloha CC.

-Gotta love the Nationals who's offense is on Fire right now, led by Veteran Vinny Castilla...I see the Nationals getting the Sweep here over Zona today behind another solid effort at the plate...The former Expos are 7-1 vs the Diamondbacks at Home, and with this one being played finally at Home the boys should continue to play motivated ball...Support is riding high for the Nationals and this works well for the franchise who was without a home for so long....Zona is on their first road series of the season, and it may be starting to show signs of it....Either way though, the Nationals led by Loaiza should get their 5th straight win today....Halsey for the Diamondbacks started off well, but he still has a lot to learn and definately wont get it easy vs this lineup with Castilla, Gillen, and Vidro.

NY YANKS -126

-This is a good price to lay with the Yanks Brown today over Balt's Cabrera....He should be able to help them stop the bleeding...I know that Brown is coming off the DL, but Cabrera hasnt faired well at all to start the season...In fact, in his first two starts, Cabrera has only lasted 8.1 innings, giving up 13 hits, 10 runs, 9 earned, 1 HR, and 5 walks...He may still be off his game and its worth a shot fading him against this allstar Yanks lineup, which will definately test him all game long..
After blowing a 6-2 lead in the 7th inning yesterday, I expect the Yanks to come out and do everything they can to prevent from getting swept by the O's.....Currently the Yanks have now lost 3 straight and 5 of their last 6 games...while the O's have gone 5-1 their last 6 games, behind their solid hitting at the plate...But, the Evil Empire has the bats as well to get to Cabrera today and early, which I expect them to be able to do...So dont expect the Yanks to lay down or start worring just yet...Yes they are sitting tied for last place with TB in the AL East, but this along with a lot of people jumping all over them at this very early stage in the season, is what I like working for them and in our favor today...Go Yankees!

-Cleveland loss, so that means that the Nets need to win this one inorder to move into a tie for 8th final spot....A win today also would give the Nets a tiebreaker advantage over both the Cavs and the 76ers...The Nets riding high and playing solid at the right time...Today they continue their dominance over their rival..

Atlanta/Philly UNDER 9.5 -120


Both teams pitchers today has started the years on solid outings....Myers, in his first two outings has posted 15 K's, just two walks, and has only allowed 1 earned run, in 12 1/3 innings on the hill....Currently he has an impressive 0.73 ERA.....The Braves Hampton over his first two starts has also been solid giving up just 2 earned runs in 14 combined innings, and he also didnt give up a walk in his last start on Monday vs the Nationals which he went 8 innings on the hill...

Together, both have a combined 2.02 ERA...and both have shut down solid teams at the plate...On Monday, Myers held Florida to just 1 run, while K'ing 8 batters....Hampton, on Monday vs the Nationals also only gave up 1 earned run, while K'ing 2 batters...Both have been on their game early..but I like Myers who has been dominating batters at the plate his last two games, where he striked out 15 batters and only gave up 2 walks...Solid!.

Sidenote: Since last July, Hampton is 12-1 in 16 starts..and he is looking like his former Astro self, when he won 22 games back in 1999

I like this one to go under the total...and the past trend also favor this game going under..

Philly -109


-Both teams send their early season Ace's to the mound today...but I have to go with the Home Philly's coming off of a win which snapped their 3 game losing skid...The Phillies also are hitting better at the plate then the Braves are...and they also have the speed to take advantage on the bases as well..

Myers is 2-1 with a 4.71 ERA in his 5 career starts against the Braves...Whereas the Braves Hampton struggled last season again the Phils posting a 0-2 record with a 5.12 ERA in three starts...Myers to me has also proven to be playing up to his potential and has proven his ability to overcome teams who he struggled terribly against...Ie, in his first two games vs the former Expos and the Marlins, he was able to turn things around against them...going 1-0 with an ERA of 0.73...solid turnaround considering that last year he went a combined 1-3 vs them with a combined ERA of 18.63.....Furthermore, it is still early yet to start getting to confident in Hampton, as its difficult to remember the last time he has put up consecutive solid outings like these.

Sidenote: Philly has won their last 4 Sunday night national TV games....

-The Royals are batting only .202 at home this season...And the Indians have gone 2-0 this season with Elarton starting... Elarton, lifetime vs KC is also 2-0 with a 4.42 ERA in his 4 starts...KC's Bautista got his first win, but he hasnt fared well in day games, posting a 0-4 Record with a ERA of 10.42...I like the Indians with the better support at the plate and on the hill to get the win in early action....GL and Aloha CC.
