The way I talk on the TV show is a great marketing tool, people watching want to see the personality of the analysts not just the "hey call my 800 number"! Whether you liked it or not I outdrew everyone on the shows every week of the season, and yes my balding friends could own you and sell you in spite of a minute, just for fun, you should be careful how you talk about the Italians, you never know who your gonna piss off!

Sportsbooks for Intraware

You can go ahead and do business with pinnacle or MVP, but I dont recommend it if your a large player. When I was with MVP I personally won over 120k in three days playing college hoops this past season 2003. I deposited 10k to start, when I tried to have money sent to me the following Monday I got every excuse in the world why they couldnt send, holiday in Costa Rica, Dalton Wagner wasnt in, blah blah blah. A personal friend of mine in Costa Rica paid a visit to Dalton Wagner and collected my money, so due to my own experience I put MVP on my site as someone I dont trust. 11 other people responded after I placed a full page ad on my website as to what had taken place with me and they also said they were stiffed and not paid because they all used credit cards and MVP wouldnt pay them, let alone put money back on thier card once they won! I recommended to all 11 people to write to thier credit card companies and get thier monies back.

Pinnacle was placed on the list because they did an entourage of marketing to sports services to send clients to them and the sports services would receive money on the back end if players lost! Numerous Sports services got scammed and slammed and never recieved monies due to them. So in point if an offshore is not going to reciprocate and pay people who refer them, then what shot does an actual client have at getting paid.

Its the same if you refer several of your friends to Pinnacle and they make a marketing agreement to pay you for people who deposit and pay you if your people lose. I guarantee you won't get paid. Plus I received over 22 complaints to my email of regular guys who got stiifed following last years Superbowl, so in no way would I remove either Pinnacle or MVP from my shit list!

And you can think what you want about me, as I hope you continue to do business with them and when you get stiffed remember you heard it here first! Maybe your just a "square" and they pay you your nibbles and bit and bits, but if you were a large bettor I would beware, Intraware!

It doesnt matter if Gaston is a fraud or he isnt a fraud, I am never going to purchase his plays, and we should just let him do his thing here and we do our thing in our area, and ignore him.

It is hard because some of us want to protect the innocent and steer them clear of this guy and others like him and to me it isnt an issue of he being the worst scammer out there but it is very obvious he knows the rules to play by and knows how to get things done. But it is also my choice to avoid services, especially ones like Ty and enjoy sports betting outside that realm.

We also have to realize that people learn from mistakes, usually we have to cut our teeth and take our lumps then we are better off for it. I paid for services (and yes Ty, when you did business with Jack and use him for a reference and he is your pal and first mentor then my experience with him is valid to your service), and I learned from it. I have also overpaid for a car when I was younger, had a lousy credit card etc..but everyone has to take their lumps and learn. Unfortunately Mr.Gaston profits from the lessons innocent people will learn.

I will not post to this guy again, but it was fun for a bit of time..but like Jim said ultimately this thread was useless.

Oh and Ty..I have plenty of friends who are Italian, but they arent people who degrade women and think it is ok. That was my point, your boys degrade women and prey on the innocent person trying to make a buck in betting.

Picking out of a hat; Spinning a wheel, interesting techniques.....

I have two methods I like to use myself.......

When I'm in a bind and can't decide what side to bet on, I go outside to my neighbors garden and pick a flower. I then procede to pluck each and every petal off alternating the team's name with each pull. Which ever the last one said is, I bet, but don't get me wrong this method is not perfect, it's only hitting 86.375%.

On this note I have one other method I like to use to help me decide those tough games and Ty may want to try this one.......get a piece of chalk and draw yourself a 1' circle in diameter on the ground, then toss 19 quarters in the air. If an even number of tails comes up then pick the team that appears first in alphabetical order, for an odd number of tails pick the team that comes last. In specific case of say LA Tech vs. Las Vegas then must refer back to the flower method, GOOD LUCK!

Tigger-From what I remember of the HBO Special, exposing these guys, it was stated that coin flipping was a manner
of "handicapping" used by Jack Price when a big game was needed.
It is funny-the next day after the special was shown on tv, Jack on his comp. phone thanked all the "countless" numbers of people who had allegedly contacted him to tell him that the HBO Special was not true and told him to keep up the good work.
I remember many years ago before I caught on to these guys' acts, I sometimes would watch the Sat. morning shows-hearing Stu Feiner claiming to give the plays for the biggest day of hislife away ABSOLUTELY FREE or Ron "Bullshit" Bash claiming he "swam" with the Dolphins and always knew if they would cover or not or noted scammers Mike Warren and the pot smoking (cocaine?) Professor each trying to outdo one another.
Oh yes, don't worry Ty I saw you and your buddy Jack Price also spewing forth your hype also.
And of course lets not forget Jim Feist and his crew in their suits(who are still on) having discussions and debates about the games like they were guests on Meet the Press or something.
Oh yes, those were the good old days, and obviously I have wisened up after throwing my money out on these guys and being lied to afterwards.
Yeah, some of these guys like Mr. Gaston are still around, as there are new suckers born every minute.
One of the best things about the internet aside from being able to get quality picks from folks who don't charge (and many times for free for those who do) is that folks are learning who the good cappers are; unlike the situation years ago(prior to internet), scammers can get away with lies only so long because people who have had bad experiences with these folks will post them for all to say, and the word will spread fast.

When I went to my P.O. Box Monday, in it was an envelope from “Ty Gaston” (Once again – thank you V-Wager for selling my name since this is the ONLY way he could have gotten it).

Anyway, the ONE PAGE copied letter (really classy – huh?) went on to say how great he is and that for more info and stuff like that to check his website (www.tygaston.com) as well as calling his free pick line (888-316-5444 and that from 8-24 to 9-23 he went 36-7 on it). I could also call his office to get his VIP Club pick selection on the Bears/Rams MNF game ABSOLUTELY FREE by calling 800-362-3755.

I did go to his site – and honestly – it is a riot! He talks about how great he is, how he got started, and everything he has done – from picking football games to saving the world from nuclear war to finding a cure for AIDS and cancer. If you need a laugh – check out his site – although it is VERY SLOW in loading – and I have a cable modem, too.

So I went to the phone I usually call from – and called these guys. I got thru at 2:23P (PST). As usual – a quick “Sports” is how they answer the phone (most of these services do that). A guy asked if it was OK if they put me on hold – and I told them it was (like I had any other choice). While I was on hold I got to listen to Al Bernstein’s “Sports Party” talk show. About 60-90 seconds later – a woman picked up the phone and apologized for the wait. She asked if she could get my name. I SWEAR the following took place:

Me: Scott (the made up name I used here - NOT my real name as a few here can verify)
Her: Jimmy?
Me: Scott
Her: Jimmy?
Me: SCOTT! S-C-O…
Her: Oh, Scott. I got it.

(The 2 names sound so much alike, too – I can see how she got them confused – yeah, right!). She then asked what they ALL ask, “how much is an average lay for you?” I told her “A couple hundred.” She then proved just how low-class this place is by telling me there was someone else they had to call ahead of me but when they are done they will call me back (Sorry – but even when this is true – you NEVER say this – NEVER. Why don’t they just say, “We don’t think you are that important to us – but we will call you back later at our convenience – and oh, by the way, we want your money for you to join our service.”).

About 15 minutes later, the phone rang. The guy told me his name was “Bobby Gaston.”

He said to me, “So you got a recording, then pressed “1” and were transferred to us, right?” I told him I had no idea what he was talking about. Bobby then asked how I heard of them. I told them a buddy got a flier from them in the mail and then gave it to me. I looked at their website and saw I could get a free pick on today’s MNF game and I was calling for it.

Bobby then said he was going to tell me what they are all about. He said they are the ONLY Pro Scouting company in the United States. He says they don’t play any “Mafia Games.” Bobby said he heads up the Scouting Division of the company. He said ALL Scouts are former NFL or NBA players or were high-level college players. Bobby then said “I played at ASU in the 70s.” (I assume this to mean Arizona State. So, when I got home – I called ASU in Tempe. I spoke to someone in the Sports Info Dept. I asked him if a “Bobby Gaston” played for the Sun Devils in the 1970s. The person told me he usually gets at least 1 call a week asking if someone played there and since today is Monday I would probably be it. The person looked up all rosters from 1970-on, and guess what? There is NO RECORD of ANY Bobby Gaston in the ASU athletic program for ANY sport. I asked the person if there was anyway Bobby could have played for ASU but was not listed. The person told me the only way was if Bobby was a “walk-on” and never played. But Bobby told me he played there – so the guy basically said Bobby was a liar – although he never used that word. I then jokingly asked if perhaps Bobby played football there for George O’Leary. The guy understood where I was going with this and started laughing. So it looks like Bobby Gaston lied to me here – I know – what a shock).

Bobby then told me they are monitored by the State of Nevada and MUST give out an accurate record or they will lose a $100,000 bond with the state as well as their business license (BOTH of these are 100% pure lying crap and Bobby knows it!). Bobby then asked if I have been to their website to look at their VIP Program. Before I could answer, he asked me to wait one second. He then told someone in the room “Gimme about 10 minutes” meaning he was going to be with me for about 10 more minutes. I doubt I was supposed to hear this for he said it sort of "off phone." Bobby then asked me if I had ever paid for a service before – and I told him the truth – NO!

I took this time to ask Bobby what their record is so far this season in football. He told me that for someone playing $100 to $500, like myself, their plays are 53-14, 77% (actually it’s over 79% but for people like this – numbers don’t mean a thing) or +39 units. I corrected him telling him it was more like +37 units (Don’t forget the “Vig,” Bobby) but he told me it was +39 units since the more they win the more I bet so it was like winning +39 units and for a $200 bettor like me – I would be up about $8,000 (true – but after paying them for these picks – I doubt I’d be up more than about $4,000 – if that).

Then Bobby showed his true colors by ONCE AGAIN asking if he could put me on hold once again so he could take care of something important (like a potential client isn’t important?). I said “sure” because right about now I was really getting steamed at this a**hole and really wanted to bust him. He came back about 30 seconds later and said he had to hang up on me to take care of something and would I be kind enough to let him call me back in 120 seconds (I swear he did this – the cardinal sin of selling – letting a “live lead” get away – although since he had my number I was not getting away). I said “OK” because I wanted to see how unprofessional these yo-yos truly are.

Well, 1200 seconds later (20 minutes as opposed to the 2 he said it would take - or 10 times longer!) he called me back, He NEVER apologized for the delay and believe it, or not, when we started talking again, he started his sales pitch from the VERY BEGINNING! It was as if we had never spoken. He is so incompetent he had to start his sales pitch from the very beginning – and this clown heads up their scouting division? YIKES!

Bobby told me they usually charge $1,200 for a season of football picks, but now they reduced that to “only” $595 and that would include all football picks thru the end of the bowl/playoff season. Once again Bobby asked if I have been to their website – and I told him about a few hours ago – but it was really slow (and is it ever). He asked if I had a chance to look at their “VIP Games” as well as their “Zebra games” – and I said I did. I asked what the difference in the 2 was. Bobby told me that at the start of the year, they charge (GET THIS!) $15,000 (Yes – you read that right – FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS) for the “Zebra Games” and $12,000 (Yes – TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) for the “VIP Games” but since the year was almost over they were reducing that rate to $7,500 for Zebra (a 50% reduction for only about 6 weeks worth of picks? What a deal?!) and $595 for “VIP Games.” I asked Bobby what was the difference in the 2 selections. Bobby told me that for someone like me, playing only a few hundred – the VIP package was the way to go – and if I signed up now he would throw in ONE Zebra game in my package every week.

I then asked if their 77% in football this season is consistent with what they hit every year. Bobby said for football it is. I asked if they do MLB and NBA – and Bobby said they did. When I asked for a winning percentage, Bobby said they hit about 68% of all NBA plays – but since there are more plays than football I will make a lot more money. He never gave me a MLB percentage (but if he is like most – he hits about 67% of his plays and the average price per winner is about +$1.50 – lol). Bobby then told me how Ty (and when I asked how they were related Bobby said they are cousins) has worked with some of the biggest names out there. He mentioned Dionne Warwick (Ooooooooooooh – my pants are wet with excitement!).

Bobby then said the best thing to do was to get out my credit card and sign up for their VIP Games package. I still had more to ask, though. I tried to ask a question, but Bobby then asked why I was calling him right now. As much as I wanted to tell the truth – I knew I couldn’t. I told him I wasn’t going to “B.S.” him – I wanted to make some money and I thought he was someone who could help me out. Bobby then told me it was apparent I had done my homework (Oh how right he is – as he will soon find out) and asked what I do for a living. I made up some stupid answer. Bobby once again suggested I get out my credit card and sing up for their services (one side note here – while Bobby may have treated me like a 5-year-old – he spoke to me in a normal tone of voice and also at a normal pace – and not 10,000 MPH).

I wanted to end the call soon, so I got my last point across for him. On Ty’s site he talks about working with: Jack Price, Stu Feiner, Kevin Duffy, Mike Warren and Ron Bash (A virtual HOF of the Scamdicapping elite!).

I said to Bobby I saw Ty worked with all of the above names. Bobby said that was true – which I hoped he would, for I then followed up by saying:

“Price has served jail time for many offenses related to cheating the public. Feiner, Duffy and Warren are 3 of the all-time biggest scamdicappers ever and have been fined numerous times by authorities in New York. Ron Bash’s resume has more lies in it than George O’Leary’s. And you told me Ty has worked with all 5 of these guys. So shouldn’t that worry me that Ty is associated with world-class losers and crooks such as these guys?”

Bobby very calmly asked, “Why do you think Ty is out on his own now?” I said I didn’t know but that whatever lame excuse he was going to give me was garbage. I then asked Bobby if he has ever heard of this site. Shockingly – he said “NO.” I then told him about it and that there is a Fourm here for the NFL. I told him to check back here Tuesday morning for EVERYTHING he said and everything he did to me on the phone I was taking notes on and was going to expose him to all here. He asked me why I would do that and what was I trying to prove.

I told him he was a first-class liar and crook. I said he knows full well his 53-14 football record is a lie and that ANYONE who claims to hit 70%+ in any sport for a season – let alone over several years is a liar. I told him there were many more lies I was going to write about and told him I was done talking with him. I thanked him for his time and then hung up the phone – telling him it was pay phone so no need to call me back for I won’t be anywhere near it when it rings. I then hung up the phone. I picked it up about 5 seconds later to see if he hung up. He didn’t so I took the phone off the hook and left.

Of all the times I have done this – this service has to rank right up (down?) there as one of the all-time biggest liars on the planet. If this guy truly has to do what he says he has to do with Nevada Authorities – hopefully they will shut this lying loser’s service down for good. But we know Bobby was lying about the bond and license so it will be biz as usual for one the biggest crocks of crap services out there.

Dribbler-that is truly a remarkable but not surprising story;I sure hope, although it is long, that as many folks as possible read it in its entirety, as it shows what Mr. Gaston and folks like him are all about.
From my point of view, I sure hope folks finally realize that I was telling the truth(not Mr. Gaston) when I tell of that 104-6 record claimed by him on his Code Zebra Plays a few years ago.

i cannot belive ty gaston has all this time to respond to picks. from the onset of services ty, jack, jim, and all the rest are known to be in bed with the books and are true scam artists. what really needs to be done to combat some of lie's arguments is for a few of the guys here to ante up some dollars and buy cheap tv time on regional sports networks. give out plays like ty and jp and we too can have zillions in offshore accounts.

That is the exact story I could have told when I called the service once before, and yes from a pay phone. Great post and one day I rue the day these guys, each and everyone of them get what they deserve for everyone they have been able to take advantage of in the past.

By the way, they don't have zillions in many offshore accounts, it's all just a setup. Honestly, I think most of them are broke as shit, and that's good for them. HAHAHAHA!!!!

I think its great that while we won't be able reach everyone who might be tempted to sign up with the scamdicappers cited on this thread, at least it is nice to know that at least some of the folks will learn from the posts like Dribbler and will think twice before subjecting themselves to the lies, false claims and general deceipt of these dispicable people and paying for their miserable picks.
If the guys cited on this thread ever subjected themselves to a lie detector test, the best bet on the board would be that the machine would break because it could not handle the volume or degree of lies told by these scammers.

Hey Ty-you are the guy who can't remember.
I asked you on 3 or 4 different times why out of hundreds of thousands of requests, hits and picks posted at bettorschat.com, why not even ONCE were either your picks or your co-conspirator's picks(Jack Price) posted.
I am actually not 50 but 59, which means I have been around the block more than a few times and seen many folks/scammers like you as mentioned in my previous post.
Don't worry though Ty-there will always be new suckers who believe folks pay you 60K for your picks, that you went 104-6 in your Code Zebra Plays, that you re the best capper ever(actually you and Jack Price) and that your scouts know things that other don't.
