If John did something wrong, the do what you got to do. John would not have a problem with that if he did in fact do something wrong.

Fan, I'm not trying to get in the middle of this. I'm just seeing this as a conscientous objector here. I'm on both sides of the fence. With that said, THERE is clearly more reasons to this than Wayne being mad cause he (Rook) isn't in this contest. I don't know exactly what went on in the past, although I do have an idea, but there is more to it that Wayne simply being mad cause Rook's not in this contest.

Jimmy Rook opened/started his own similiar forum at his website AFTER Running a contest here and getting a bunch of emails. Monte never wanted him to get all those emails to begin with and Spark and i both said don't worry monte, he is cool and wouldn't do anything with them. He went on to open his own forum and email it to MANY people from here (not me of course). Monte blew a fucken gasket and told us he knew it was a bad idea. Joe was more pissed than i've EVER seen him. After alot of pressure and his membership about to be aborted, he agreed to get rid of his forum. W iz t hick r ip and many others have pulled that shit and how do we feel about them? John is lucky he is still here after that shit and that is one of many things that won't ever be forgotten.

I answered that 100 posts ago jimmy when i said it was bullshit that he can have free reign here yet bring up his service when asked to join in on a pool. I'll bump joe's reply too jimmy, ask him why he felt the same fucken way! It's not the Email list, the Forum, the FFL, the Nascar Leagues or even this contest. It's everything combined and i'm done being his pretend friend and giving him his cake so he can eat it too. He made 3 different excuses why he couldn't play. How about just being fucken honest for once. That's what i say jimmy. I also did talk to him several times through email last night and it looked just like this. I have nothing to hide and until he proves my points to be wrong, neither should he!

John doesn't want in the contest cause it's not fair to his clients. But you mention that other services participate in the Hilton Contest .... John actually cares about his clients, those others really don't. Those other services probably have many, many more clients than John, and they have many other means of picking up more clients who drop out. Believe me, if I paid John for picks, but learned I could get them here before the games start, I would be pissed and want a refund.

John said he rather spend the $50 on his new born, or his wife. He has set his priorities ... Do you blame him?

John messed up 6-7 months ago in which you say many were pissed. So now, all of a sudden, it's time to "punish" John. Well, it sure looks personal to me.

I read all the posts and I'm trying to look at this objectively and find a fair solution.

John obviously has a set of plays he sends out to his clients. He IS a pro capper so he should be able to cap an extra set of games that he does NOT send to his clients that he can use for the pool.

Then, the $50 is paid into the pool which he said he'd do, his clients get their set of personal paid picks and his separate picks are entered in the contest for everyone to see.

Everyone would be marginally happy with this scenario and both sides have what they are looking for. Just trying to help.....

For exposure. If a service does well in the Hilton contest it's free invaluable exposure. I'm sure the services sell their paying clients on the fact that their selections in the contest are posted on Saturday's and they give their clients the 'late' selections. blah blah blah

I agree with this post 110%.. IF it gets me banned for saying that I agree with this then so be it.. I have children of my own as well and ill be damned if i pick to spend money on a damn pool over my own children..And to me and also from the looks of it LSU is also under the impression that this is what it looks like SOME want Rook to do.. Once again i agree 110% with ya on this one LSU..
