Bry- I'm here but alot of my reasoning falls on deaf hears, or rather, closed ears. I have plenty to say but all I keep reading is references to 29% and the never ending list of complaints those who disagree put forth. It becomes exhausting listening to negative crap all day long. I suspect we don't surround ourselves with negative people in our everyday life so this forum should be no different. Take comfort in this:

There is alot of bitching here but very few ideas.

Believe me, if the Presidential election were held this November, the Dem. candidate would not be the favorite.

Liberals never win elections unless they move to the center.

This country is alot more conservative than the Left would have you think.

And finally- Have faith and be proud. We have nothing to be sorry for or to be ashamed of. We help more people in this world in a day than most countries will ever dream of. The fact that we feel our country is under attack from outside as well as inside is a reality check. If we are truly going to help others, our house has to be straight first. There is nothing selfish about that.

Really? One could make a compelling case that the govt. and the Bush Administration have made decisions which are tied indirectly if not directly to the profit motives of their corporate allies.
