I received his email. He has personal, financial reasons for charging for his plays.

That being said, he's a mod here and knowing how everyone feels about this, it's odd to say the least.

I always thought he was a service from day one ... I see his plays on other forums in the Service Threads all the time...

I think this is going to be a very sensitive issue to some people. Anytime someone starts charging for plays, regardless of the reason, members will feel that they've been led down the primrose path. It will seem like they were being setup all along.

Now, granted, he's been around a very long time posting for free, but he has a huge following and lot of members are going to have hard feelings about this.
