Just got off the phone with LSU.. He wanted me to give you all a message.. Where he lives it is fine. Nothing compared to New Olreans.. He doesn't want you to feel sorry for him at all because he is blessed on what he has, not like other people who have ABLSOLUTELY nothing! Guys, we had a heart to heart talk for about a half hour and when he broke down and cried i can feel he wanted to do some much for other people but under the conditions he cant.. Whenever he gets power, be on the lookout for one of the most emotional posts you will ever see by him. He sleeps during the day whenever he can and lets his family sleep at night while he guards the house from looters at night. He leaves the front door open for some breeze for them to sleep better.. Thanks for listening everyone... and lets all pray for Tigger and all the other people who are in trouble.

That kind of crap pisses me off! It's sad that he has to stay up at night to protect his home from looters. To think that people have the nerve to try and steal somebodys things in a time like this is obserd. Glad to hear Jimmy is okay!

Jimmy, I hope you are o.k. Brother. I'm hoping this starts to improve soon. I don't think they could handle it getting worse. Where the hell is all that water going to go? I heard what they were going to try but what if it doesn't work? Just incredibly bad.

I just got off the phone with Jimmy and I echo what LoveDoc had to say.....Heres a man who is going through a tough time, and he's wishing he could help the others who had it worse than him...Makes you stop, look at what you have, and appreciate it, cause it may be gone tomorrow....

Still no word from Tigger, and myself being from Morgan City, La, about 25 miles from Jimmy and 85 miles from Tigger, I can tell you Slidell (Tiggers home) was hit real hard....Massive flooding and oover 200 mph wind gusts....all communications are down in that area....

Jimmy just got his cell phone back up, and I'm sure thats the problem with Tigger right now, as land lines are gone....appears they may be without power for up to 2 months---some areas they say 4-5 months...

Just heard on the news, this is the United States Largest Natural Disaster ever.....

I dont know if anyone can answer this question but what about the schools, kids are going to be out of school for months. They probably dont even have a school to go back to. This is very sad, stay safe Jimmy. My thoughts and prayers are with tigger as well.

WAyne, i did hear the news just a while ago... I heard the water level is not rising anymore because they dropped like 3000 sandbags down so water is going somwhere but not sure where

I am overwhelmed by what I am seeing and reading- looters as well. You really do have to keep an eye out during anything resembling a disastor torn area. I really feel for LSU, Tigger and the rest and continue in prayer for them and the rest of the ravaged storm-destructed area.

I just got off the phone with him again ... What a guy he is ... He said the same things to me about the looters and staying up all night .. he also kept telling me what he told Doc .. Don't worry about me ... Don't feel sorry for me worry about the ones that are in trouble he kept saying ... You heart has to go out to him ... He is so worried about protecting his mother ... i told him his mother is a very lucky lady for having a son that cares so much about her ... he then lost it on me ... I hope he does not mind me saying this but he lost it a few times in that 20 minutes ...

This is one of the saddest events in my life...

As far as schools for the kids goes what they do is when things become stable and schools become safe to inhabit, children get bused to those schools even if it is outside of the district. They operate on a split schedule and change the terms.

As for all the negative acts....
There will always be scumbags on this earth who like to take advantage of others and situations. This kind of shit gets publicized in a far greater number and with a far greater vigor then the acts of kindness, citizenship and humanity that are occurring. I can assure you all that these positive encounters are outnumberring the negative ones by a thousand fold.

It's just unfortunate that there are these dumbass mother fuckers who provide nothing to society.......
