    Tom:

I am continually amazed. There is ceratainly enough room here to disagree but it never ceases to puzzle me how the "open minded, peace loving" crowd will be the first ones to try to get in someone's ass when they don't share their point of view. If Michael Moore, moveon.org, Hillary, etc. agree with your point of view; trust me, you have a problem. War is hell- I live in NC, in the home of FT Bragg. It's felt here every day. But sitting back got us attacked on 9/11 and some of you guys aren't going to wake up until this war is fought HERE. This IS a WORLD WAR! Look all over the world, attacks by "the peaceful religion" of Islam are abundant from Iraq to Russia, from Israel to Africa, from England to Spain, from Germany to the US. Get used to it and recognize it for what it is. Blame W all you want. That's the easy thing to do when you are part of the blame America first crowd.

One last thing- 1,500 artillery shells along with chemical weapons potent enough to kill thousands found in Mosul, Iraq approximately 5 days ago. Do you see that story on the news? No, page 18 of your papers. There will come a day when this will come home to roost if we're not careful. Better strap 'em on boys.....

i do not know the solution, but i do realize the average american is soft.....real SOFT and has had it easy their whole life and figure why get involved???? also our nation has no stomach for setbacks and seems to show no resolve when the gong gets tough.....Also for some reason we think we as citizens deserve a play by play of the war.....leave the war to the generals people.....this is not a game.....

do i believe in the war???? i said from the outset that i did not think it would be in our best interest......but i echo someone who said earlier...we haveto see it through.......i feel bad for mrs. sheehan, but that does not deter me from supporting the commander in chief and our men and women on the ground.....

so i am with frank........Tom i appreciate the viewpoint, but i think you have swallowed the liberal koolaid......lock and load
well said tony, i agree whole heartedly

What's interesting I made no reference to Tom Foolery in my reply. I never attacked Tom. I simply stated it was a BS article.

Tom, why create a controversial thread and then attack every member that disagrees with your opinions? You create a thread and when I post my opinion you tell me to take it SOMEWHERE ELSE !!

And I'm fucked up in the head???????????

Politics brings out the worst in people. 2 things that fire people up is religion and politics, it always amazes me. People can go from normal to asshole with just a few words on these topics. Lets all chill before big brother(spark, ha ha) closes this thread and makes us go to our room

Don't waste your breath. That's exactly my point, it's fine for their side to voice their opinions because they are the "enlightened" ones. We, on the other hand, are portrayed as war hungry, close minded idiots. I've believed that the liberal, socialist agenda has damaged this country for decades. We have become soft, fat, people who want everything done FOR us and I believe we have lost some of our love of Freedom. That's scary. We are still the greatest country in the world and the majority of Americans when pressed, do the right thing. It's who we are. They can bitch about W and "stolen" elections, but the fact is liberals are never wrong in their mind. Yet they keep losing election after election. Let's just hope they don't wise up any time soon.

when you answer a man with "what the fuck are you talking about"? to me is a little bit confrontational.....i just picked up the pace is all.....i can discuss...but when i feel insulted personally is when i get a little jumpy.........so i assume i having to come correct...means your way of thinking........i do not have a problem w/ anyones point of view...just do not like being corrected by someone who simply has another point of view.......you just seem like you are a know it all and when someone disagrees you get personal.....and then you back track when called out......i have no idea who you are and what you are....but when i get talked to in a disrespectful manner.....i feel the need to defend myself.....

I'm not buddying up with anyone and my comments about "liberal" were not directed at ony one person, instead the left wing part of the democratic party that has taken the party over. My beliefs are just that, mine.

A Good Thread Gone Bad ...

In Reflection I've Come To Realize That My Dislike Of Frank Has Overshadowed The Orginal Intent Of This Thread . Therefore , Leading The Casual Reader To Erroneously Believe , That I Became Irate With Frank For His Opinion Of The War . When In Actuality , I Don't Care For Frank's Opinion's In General Due To Several Past Differences.

I Apologize To The Forum For Having Exressed Myself So Poorly , For That I Am Sorry !

As I stated earlier in this thread NO I WON'T STAY OUT OF YOUR THREADS especially if you create these type of threads.

Tom, we are in an open forum. There's no such thing as staying out of threads. You can't decide who replies and who doesn't reply. For that matter no one can. Everything is open and fair game. I never attacked you in this thread with my original reply. I stated my opinion about the article. You attacked me.

As far as previous run ins. We had one incident. About a year ago you had a problem with another member. A member that is a dear friend to me. I posted my opinion about that situation. Once again you have a problem with me or anyone expressing their opinion.

Tom, one more point. I never had a run-in with Tom Foolery. The incident from last year was with LDawg. When I initially replied to this thread I had no idea they were one in the same.
