Check these merging monsters out, we've had snow showers to this point and have accumulated 4-5 inches already and it's just the beginning....headed out now for more booze and a few movies.

ps. it's pretty calm now but not looking forward to the wind, that's the worst part imo

Odds were as good as me hitting GOY....NADA no kerosene heaters!!!

This storm will be like gambling for me, roll the dice and see who loses power.

All hunkered down and ready to ride her out

Have fun everyone in the path of Nemo, GL!

BOSTON (AP) — A behemoth storm packing hurricane-force winds and blizzard conditions swept through the Northeast on Saturday, dumping more than 2 feet of snow on New England and knocking out power to 650,000 homes and businesses.

                  You guys still have power?

I see Wayne posted a few threads. I assume he has power, hope the rest of my BC brethren do.

29.3 inches in Portland. Biggest snow storm of all time. The old record was 27.1 in 1979

                      And it is still snowing!

The leader in the clubhouse right now is Milford, Connecticut with 38 inches of snow.

                          One Word: Unbelievable!!!!!!!

Still have power here also, there's about 11,000 without in my state. Now coffee and Bailey's and gear up to shovel out...it's gonna be a bitch. Probably give it until noon time as the storm will start to wind down.

Another note there is a high tide in about 10 minutes at 10 am and the surf is pounding the coastline. I was going to try and shovel out to go the the beach and watch, but said "fuck that"! I'll watch it on the tube. I learned something though and that is to take off my storm door on the front of the house because it opens pushing out and with the amout of snow on the patio it's not going to be easy pushing that sucker open.

I included a picture of downtown of where I live that someone posted on facebook, I think we've got about 24 inches here so far, haven't heard official inches yet. If anyone wants to see some photo's go to WGME CBS 13 on facebook, they have alot of storm photo's.

I hope eveyone in it's path is all good.
