Did they also call a balk on you? lol
I am on hold with the Mass. Registry of Motor Vehicles as I write this-remember this happened out of state.

Damn cameras, don't you wish you were back in the horse and buggy days again???

Your credit score will take a dive; pay it. You have a number assigned to you, and a collection or judgment will make you a higher risk. If you don't have it, it would be understandable; if it is a principle thing with you, it will cost you more in the long run not to pay it. I got one this summer in Pensacola in a rental, and it was legit. I hated it, but they were right.

It's $25, pay it, this probably isn't a "Sebastian" type scam.

What bout ther $75 violation fee-pay that also?
I have nearly a perfect driving record here in Mass. and Iam convinced that if I did go through the red light as they allege, it is because it didn't change from red to green after three minutes or so and/or because there was no sufficient reaction time to stop between when it switched from yellow to red.
Anyways, I haven't yet received the actual violation citation from Arlington, and lets just say that has better sent it return receipt requested.
I will appeal when I receive it but sure as hell am not going down there for a court appearance(no Sox games down there now for one thing, not that I would go even if there were. lol).
Even more importantly I got off the phone with Mass. Registry a little while ago and discussed the situation and was told that if I have a citation down there and don't pay it, they will notify me that I will lose my license in Mass.(unless of course I win the appeal).
Also, they told me that I will get negative points on my driving insurance in Mass meaning my insurance rates will go up even though it took place in a rental car in another state and the citation was not done by a live person-yeah right!
The only sure thing is that they don't know who they are dealing with here, and at this point I will contest both the $25 charge on my credit card(for one thing it was sent regular mail) and the fine itself.
No one and I mean no one will win this without a fight to the end!
Let them lower my credit rating if they want to-what the fuck do I care-I don't owe anyone any money and already have a small mortgage on my new house with the lowest possible rate of interest in any event, the latter which will be paid off shortly.
ps Monte-I am going to send you the log in instructions, code and citation numbers if you want to see if you can look at the pictures(I assume that if I send something to the BC email address, you will receive it)-I don't have the time or patience and probably don't even know how to post the photos directly on the site0.
Sorry for the rant, but I am angry

It is not a movable violation. They can not prove who is driving the car on those cameras

Savage this is a scam.the fact that it was an out of state rental car gives it away.they can't and wont use your own vehicle because they have no clue whatsoever what u drive.it's probably a scam ran by someone who works for or hacked into the rental car's database.

Yes it is the same car but I don't recall the plate number,
The place of alleged violation seems right also as I was in that area.
Also, rental agrement says it doesn't matter who was driving the car.
My only defense is that the red light was locked(it did happen somewhere in Texas but can' t remember where) or that light went from green to red or from yellow to red with no reaction time.
I just talked to my bother and he and I agree that I should do nothing about paying anyone until I recelve the actual violaton from Texas.

That is why I am sitting tight for now and doing nothing.
ps it was a Missouri plate.

                          Just pay the fine...geezus.

Your wife admits that she remembers you going thru the red light...but yet you blame it on the light going from green to red or yellow to red too quickly or some shit...

ok-I was not able to see the entire video.
If I did and it was clear, then that changes things.
