Coming south is a good idea, Mid Oct the leaves should be in color. Dont know if you golf but the Homestead is nice in Hot Springs VA and the Greenbrier in WVA. Both have horse riding I am sure, spas, golf, fly fishing.

These places are very quite and peaceful.

I don't know where you live, or where you are willing to travel to, but we went to Yellowstone last year and it was great. Better to go in the summer though, the cabin rental is a lot cheaper. Virginia is another nice state to visit. Where ever you go, I hope have fun and a good time.

Thanks guys. The only time I have been in Virginia is when I stop to get gas on my way to Myrtle Beach I heard it was nice, just dont know alot about it or where to go

Flare, I do play golf, but I will not, will not take the wife. I'd have to bring a hacksaw and a toupee. The hacksaw to cut my clubs in half and the toupee because I would be ripping the hair out of my scalp

Its like a frigging circus of where we want to go. I got her off the Biltmore and we are onto a 3 night stay in Vegas in either New York New York, Stratosphere, Monte Carlo, Planet Hollywood or the Venetian (wife). By the end, I might be taking a train ride to drop off some 2 x 4's at a lumber yard
