I am not worried about money. She doesnt want to go to Vegas unless its 10 plus days. As soon as we leave the driveway, the candlestick is coming out

I want something thats not too noisey 24/7. I'm looking to go the middle of next month.

I'd hit up a Nascar race. Middle of next month, I believe they'll be in Martinsville. Plenty of short track beating and banging action

On a serious note, fly into Boston...check out a Sox game. There is lot's to do in the city and with the rent a car head over to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun for a couple days and then make a road trip up North for some Leaf peeping.

Getaway, relaxing, shopping, casino. I'd take a cruise, just make sure you get on one that is directed towards adults. My second recomendation would be Tahoe. 10 days in Vegas would put me over the edge, and in bankruptcy! I can only do about 4 days, 3 nights.

I don't know if you ski Meg but if you do I'm sure you have been to Heavenly at Tahoe. Some of the best views ever are skiing down that mountain. We always lodge on the Nevada side but ski down the California side for lunch.Add Harrahs and Harveys Casinos in the area and the night life is great too.Have you ever ate at the Fridays Steak and Seafood up on like the top of Harrahs.Steaks were about $40 each but it was well worth it.The views and atmosphere are awsome.I might book me a trip there now for Feb.

I used to live a mile from the california side of Heavenly...had season passes... the Sage room at Harveys was my favorite...you should try it next time you go..there is no view as it on the casino floor but the food is the best!
