          I agree with Dawson, Banks and Sandberg until he got injured in pre-season .. Broke his wrist .. not the same after that ...

          No better arm then Dunston's but too bad you never knew where he was going to throw it ... hit a ball a mile far but swung at every low pitch that was thrown to him .. never figured why a pitcher would throw higher then his knees

          Grace ... terrific glove and single hitter ... but no power at all ... and I always liked the power guys ... King Kong ... Ron Cey ... Billy Williams .. Banks ... Dawson

                  I remember them very well, 87, 91. I have 2 kids, my wife was pregnant both years. That's how I remember when they we're born!!! I went to many games at met stadium, prolly more than the metrodome. Remember Boog Powel making Harmon Killebrew look like a little kid. Ahh the good old days, Hisle, Cardness, Ford, Versailes, Carew, ...Then you have Spark who knew all the guys on the 1919 white sox team, Shoeless Joe, Chick Gandil, etc...

                      Pretty sure Joe(Spark) and Shoeless Joe were close buds that year and that was Sparks best year ever in his picks!! 142-32-7. (He killed the books)
