People like you have selective hearing and reading. Because only your side isn't what's written about, you think it's a biased story. You're obviously VERY ignorant of how it works and what they do. Believe all you want, listen to Rush and O'Reilly all you like, and think that you are well informed. You're are the perfect sheep for morons like that to cram their garbage down.

I fully stand by my statement of unbiased reporting on stories in newspapers, except for Op Ed pieces. But I'm sure you read those and believe that because it's one person's opinion, it must be the opinion of everyone in the media. I'll take my 25 years in teaching, schooling and as a professional member as my pillar to stand on.

One of the tenants of Journalism is equal sides to every story that journalists write. And EVERY editor at EVERY newspaper knows that both sides must be represented. I challenge you to find me a story in print, that is biased and where the opposing side was completely ignored that is NOT an Op Ed article. FIND IT AND POST IT HERE!

You can't even read my post correctly. I said Limbaugh and Hannity are one sided, no disagreement. I'm a conservative, but I am NOT a Hannity fan for that very reason. He will never give the other side any credit no matter what, and that is why I don't listen to him. However, you are simply wrong with O'Reilly, and it is clear you don't watch him. Every single segment discussing an issue he invites the other side on. Most of the time the other side shows, occasionally they don't. When they don't he states the person or organization's name that was invited, but stated they refused to come on. He can't help that. Trust me, if he was making that shit up he would be called to ther carpet every time. Most segments they have a democratic strategist and a republican strategist to debate.

I read your post perfectly clear. To think his show is equal because he invites an opposing view is idiotic. The ONLY part is the point counter point. Because he is NOT a moderator and is the main focus of the show, that in and of itself makes it biased.

And again, I'm not referring to TV shows. That is where most bias comes into play. Always has and always will. They are called shows for a reason. Having said that, I will take the reporting of CNN over Fox any day of the week. Much more balanced in my opinion.

Harold, you are making way too much sense for libs to understand.

btw, I agree with your take on O'Reilly and Hannity.

Keep in mind those guys are not Newscasters who need to be impartial.

It is a great unbiased newspaper. Try reading it sometime. You might get edumacated. I'm sure you're another one who reads the Opinion page and thinks that's the opinion of every journalist there.

Find me a story online, from the New York Times website, that WAS NOT AN OPINION OR COLUMN, that has biased reporting where only one side was given.....POST IT HERE!

I thought Monte killed the rant forum for good reason. These political discussions on this site are never anything short of destructive and counterproductive.

When you compare the NY Times to anything on TV, then there's no guessing about it.

Last October, The New York Times killed an ACORN-Obama campaign expose, fearing that it would be a game changer and preferring no change.

Although The Times had never mentioned this matter, its Public Editor, Clark Hoyt, finally did, in a column titled "The Tip That Didn't Pan Out" and published on May 16, 2009.

Sounds like the Times is very unbiased to me, but then again, what the hell do I know? I tried to buy a pack of gum by passing off Pea Sized Gravel as money
