Monte-Mayb I wasn't clear in what I said about Philippine women.
The point is and you can verify this this anywhere, that ALL Philippines are taught English as the primary language in schools from the first day of kindergarter until they graduate high school, college or if they quit school early.
Therefore one has to assume that the great majority of the Philippine women on the site(7000+) have a good or at least fair understanding of how to converse in English.
Just go to the site and check out some Phillippine women( I took a few at random and all stated that they speak English to at least some degree).
Thus, by my way of thinking, I assume that a good 7000 women in the Phils alone speak English, thus dispelling the notion that only a few hundred of the ENTIRE 38000 all around the globe speak English, which is what is implied.
Again, I am going to point this out to Foreign Affair using you as an example, because you punched in the word "English" and came away with the feeling that only a few hundred out of 38000 spoke English-it is a very valid point, and FA has to change it to avoid confusion in the future.

A Little About "A Foreign Affair"

This is mostly for Monte:
I just spoke to the owner again regarding you question about why only approximately 200 people came up who speak English out of 38000. when you press the search function.
He stated that that particular function applied only if the woman herself use the word "English" in her profile and had nothing to do with how many women spoke English.
I also asked why with some women in their profiles, the word "English" is used (and the woman will state what it is) while with other women the word "English" does not appear.
He stated that if the word "English" does not appear, it is safe to assume she doesn't speak any.
Other matters:
I asked him what percentage of all the 38000 women on the site have at least some knowledge of English and he stated it was at least 50%.
Regarding the number of women in Russia who speak English, he was said it was at least 60% if the woman was educated and/or lived near a big city but was a bit less if she was less edcuated and/or lived out in the boondocks.
Also, he stated that most men who are interested just use the check off function(country, age, children, or no children, etc) and not the search function in search of the ladies they would like to meet rather than search function.

I don't want to generalize but be careful.
In my endeavors, I exposed two Brazilian women who claimed they were interested in me-one lied and posted a picture not of her(who I later found out was not young and attractive at all) but instead of her sister who was young and attractive.
I think the older one who wrote to me figures if I met her and saw her "inner qualities," I might overlook that she had posted a picture of her sister and not HER-yeah right-she was history faster than you can say Stu Feiner.
The other one who wrote to me while quite attractive didn't tell me she was not divorced yet(I found this out indirectly), and was simply separated from her husband-she was also history as I didn't want to deal with that and perhaps a lot more she didn't tell me.
For sure there are a lot of attractive sincere Brazilian women out there;just tell your brother to use a reputable agency, or if he does it on his on througn internet dating sites, be carefu, do his dd(due diligence) l and NEVER and I mean NEVER send money to any woman now matter how sincere she sounds.
