on a rare occasion I get a call from one of these dumbasses, and I tell them they have the wrong number. If they push it I tell them that I just got this number last week, and they seem to go away every time.
Being as asshole to an asshole only makes the asshole get bigger. Next time (even though the fuckers deserve everything they get) just be pleasant and tell them you just got this number and have no idea what they are talking about.

blitz saidtry this.... but read it first.
Register to this site: www .donotcall.gov/default.aspx
Then report 'em. Good Luck!
It sounds like you are getting calls from a bunch of services, not just the one you did business with. Those guys would have to stop calling you. Get on the list, it's free and run by the government. Then, the next time you get a call, tell them you are on the "don't call list" and if they call again you will report them and take them to small claims court. If they call again, report them, or better still, sue them. The don't call list is updated every month and business' know where to see it on the internet.
A few years ago, I got three calls from a telemarketing company, selling Blue Cross Health insurance. After the second call, I told them I'm on the don't call list and if they call again, I'll take them to small claims court. They called again and I found out from the court what I had to do to sue them. It was easy. I had to pay to serve them with a supeana, which cost $88 because they were not in my county.
Here's the good part. I sued them and when they got the supeana with the date they had to travel here to court [400 miles] I got a phone call from the owner of the telemarketing firm, wanting to settle. He told me their computer was broken and they could not tell they had already called me that day. Not know what would happen in small claims court, I settled for $400 plus my $88 for expenses. Got a check from them within a week.
One thing you can do is phone your counties small claims court. A lot of them have a paralegal, whose job is to tell you what you have to do to sue someone and what they think your chances are of winning. The whole process can take a couple of months, but it's worth it and you should use small claims court once you register for the don't call list, if they keep calling. Just remember, the actual service you paid, can consider you a customer and they are allowed to call you, but I don't know for how long. The other services cannot call. Good luck. Sue the assholes.

They would have to call you a second time after you tell them you are on the don't call list before you can do anything. However, one big problem. If a business calls you that you have done business with in the past, they can call you, but I don't know for how many years after you stopped doing business with them.

Thanks guys for all the input. Im gonna try the no call list. I dont see how I could ever catch these guys like you would an established company. These guys use several phone #'s and different names. The main reason for this post is this: I know my sportsbook is giving out my info to these assholes. Ive called my book out on it and they only deny it. I like the site and get easy payouts, but should I switch to another or are all the books doing this?

i receive the same calls periodically too. obviously you know its a handicapper cuz is a no number on the id. can you change your number on your personal information on the sportsbook? try that so the number that's passed out will be a wrong one? just a thought. i dont answer the calls but i does get annoying when they call 3 times in a row, like i'm gonna answer the 3rd time when i didnt the second one. haha

rcmcd- These hounds are dirtbags and even if they stop you may get a call later once again. They hide behind hidden numbers. So--- simply- say wrong number or just hang up without conversing- they will get the message- any 888 numbers -click. 5 dimes and bet jamaica seem find.Last edited by Spearit; 10-04-2007, 01:01 AM."The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice.

Amazingly I have not received any calls for over a year;perhaps it is because I signed up for he no call list on both my regular and cell phone.
In the past when one of the idiots calls from one of the big names service like Feist and I already have the plays, I have simply asked them why I should pay them when I know their plays.
Of course, they will come weakly back with something like "Well how do you know those are the real plays" or "the plays you have are not the best ones, etc."
Usually after that if they have wanted to continue, I have I toldl them that I get many more FREE plays on internet from cappers far better than their service;at that point they usually hang up knowing it is fruitless.
That being said, I prefer the present situation of not having to deal with those classless, lowlife bloodsucking leeches.
