    love Sprite

I don't believe in fixes for one and I don't watch much NBA the past couple years. I do know I would take Lebron over anyone if I was starting a team. He just does too much for his team, great passer, good rebounder, developing into a great leader, gets his teammates involved, and so on. I'm done arguing this though and we can agree to disagree

Dude, a player who scores 25 points in the 4th quarter (your requirement for GREATNESS) has NO teammates to get involved......listen to what you are saying! The only person he leads is himself the rest of them are afraid.....but you are right............he is GREAT!!!

This should come as no surpise to anyone. I have never understood why superstar athletes even bother with marriage. Their gonna end up divorced with half their stuff.

Money & Power as they don't need good looks

Sooner, nothing personal as I did not see the game but Marv Albert, who I respect as a broadcaster greatly, called it one of the greatest playoff performances of all time. And he has watched quite a few.

Also, read Bill Simmons article on ESPN.com. Both of them know more about basketball than you and I combined.

I don't get your hatred towards him. Arguably, he has done more at the age of 22 and is a better player at that age, than anyone in NBA hostory.

And one of the best defensive teams in the NBA could not stop him, without any other options, on their home floor, in a pivotal game...listen to what you are saying!

                      KB,
I disagree with your Wade has nothing on Wade comment. Just because you had Shaq does not = championship. Last year Wade took over against Detroit and Dallas. Lebron took over 1 game so far. They entered the NBA in the same year and D Wade has made the playoffs (Even before Shaq) ever year, James has not. NBA Rings DWade 1 LJ 0. We shall see on that down the road but I have been saying D Wade was great when he was at Marquette.

By the way, A-Rod is an ass!
Am I the longest tenured BC member?

How can u not say Lebron is greatness. Dude, you said it yourself that Lebron has no one on his team to score so he had to do everything. the pistons are one of the top defensive teams in the league..they were tripple teaming him last night and he was still making all the shots!..the guys the real deal. And not only that, hes a true leader..He coaches his team mates through out the game, if one of his team mates get fouled hard he's the first one there to give them a hand up..the guys a leader and last nights performance was one of the best playoff performances

Zeib.....you are sooo right, it was ONE game...ONE that is the point I am trying to make. I NEVER once said James was NOT a GOOD player. I just reserve the word GREAT for where it applies. And as for anyone's comments about DEFENSE, the Pistons defense was horrible last night!! I have NO problem with James, I have a problem with ONE game and he is at the same level as JORDAN. And NO one has answered my question, other then the arrival of the "Savior" last night......what has he done that we can hang GREAT on. Zeib said it best in the RING count Wade 1 James NONE.....and that will stay the way it is for another year atleast.
AS for my losses last night, wasn't even a C note brother. I just get pissed when people take one performance and say that someone is GREAT. Oh and when someone then turns around and calls AROD a loser.......yeah, he won't be one of the greatest players in baseball history when he is finished. Again, I NEVER said that James was not a GOOD player, but GREAT not even there yet!

Sonner, with all due respect, Wade did nothing without Shaq. Jordan did nothing without Pippen. Kobe has done nothing without Shaq. LeBron has done more with less than either one of those two. And he is only 22. I agree with you in that in today's world the word 'great' is severly overused, but in today's NBA, LeBron qualifies as great and has the potential to be one of the top 5 players ever.

Hmm, let's see. At 22 years of age, he's averaged 26.7 pts, 6.7 Rebs, and 6.4 assits a game for his career. I believe him and Oscar Robertson are the only players to average 26-6-6 over their first 3 years of their career. He also got his team to the NBA finals, as their marquee player, at the age of 22. He scored 29/30 points to end a conference finals game, willing his team to a 2 point victory, at th age of 22. He scored the last 25 points of an East Conf finals game, at the age of 22. The year before he came to teh Cavs, they won 17 games. Now, in his 4th year, he took them to the NBA finals, at the age of 22!

Let's see what else. First you make fun of his supporting cast, which even makes him look better if he is playing 1 on 5 like you seem to think. So you say that means the Cavs are awful. Then game 6 happens, and a number of guys step up. I'm guessing LeBron is bad though b/c he wasn't their leading scorer.

Plus, how is he a punk? I don't think "he doesn't smile in interviews" makes one a punk. Maybe if he played cheap, beat women, or got DUIs. But nowhere in his character is "punk."

Obviously you have something against the Cavs and/or LeBron that festers itself in these outburts against an incredible player that is only 22 years old! (Have I stressed that enough?) The Spurs are too deep for the Cavs to beat them, although the Cavs did win the season series 2-0, but it certainly won't be b/c of LeBron.
                                O..H.........I..O!
