Unless the Tribune company has personally called you or you have documents stating that fact they don't feel an urgency to do more....then yes, that is a theory that you are making!

Our payroll should tell you that we're PUT a product on the field to compete. Whatever happens after that just happened...injuries etc....

Have you read all of my replies? The proof is there John whether or not you want to accept it. How long did it take to replace Lee? What have they done to "Sure" up the pitching problems??? You really think Prior and Wood were 100% heading into the season like you say they were "Ready to Go"?

Wayne, not sure how many years experience you have as a major league general manager, but based on the fact that I have little experience in that capacity, I'm not gonna judge the quickness that it took Jim Hendry to finally execute a trade. He could have been looking for someone the day after Lee got hurt, but you also have to have a taker on a trade.

Prior and Wood are only a factor now because of the loss of Lee. Before Lee was hurt, we were playing very good baseball, but now all the injuries are compounding and again the blame is placed on the injuries to lee, prior, and wood.

I really wish you would have replied with something better from post 47. You never mentioned anything to do with the whole point of that post. It's like you don't even want to see or accept some things that even you know are true.
