Another reason why Cashman is a clown and overrated...any genius would see that you would rather have Crisp, but he takes the easy way out and throws money at Damon instead of even trying to get Crisp from Cleveland.

MCP, I think you actually make some good points and I do not think Crisp was the leadoff batter for Cleveland last year, I thought he batted 8 or 9. But I just don't agree with the logic. Comparing Youk career versus Crisp career? Let Youk play a season or two. He has less than 500 career at bats.

He has blown more money on the middle relief year-after-year, and this winter wa sno different. $200 million with no bench. Made a nice trade for Chacon and caught lightning in a bottle with Small. IMO, he is very overrated.
