In Cinncy-6 of 6 games in this series have gone UNDER THE TOTAL the last 3 seasons . --Hmmm--- I guess they are due!

Liking LAA Today. Not into sides but will play this today.
Cabrera is a wild one issuing way too many walks. Maybe he settles down but I like the trend below!

Interesting:
Miller is the Ump for the LAA/Balt game. Lets take a look at him.

Miller is 2-0 O/U this year. Over the last three years he is 56.5% on the Under....BUT!!!!!!

Of those SAME 3 seasons.....in 29 games in the NATIONAL LEAGUE, he is 72.4% UNDER and in 32 AL games, he is 67.7% OVER)

Looking at the pitchers era and whip recently - this looks like a play.
The public is bite-ing on the under- Fade em'.

Froemming is 0-3 O/U and is known as a great Unders Ump!Froemming- an ump for the detroit/cleveland game is being sent in to stop the over situation of Detroit- since every game has gone over this year- not even close.
About 50% for Cleveland.

Do umps really have a big effect on totals?

Meathead- They are used for the afterglow if you will- I like to sort out the stats and then bring in the ump. This game with Cleveland /Detroit is a powder keg. The over could easily hit due to the bull pen and current performances of pitchers. Froemming enlarges the strike zone and this makes opposing batters swing at almost anything. These games generally go under unless the pitcher continues to leave a hanging curve ball out over the plate. Very difficult to go against Detroits Overs in all games- but if it is to happen- it should be today.

I caution all who follow- these plays are based on a a 1-3 run difference that I see in the lines. It is still early in the season to get a good grip on what teams are going to do.

Umpires have history and the knowledge of their past has helped me to a 90-59 2005 record on totals alone.
