These games generally go under unless the pitcher continues to leave a hanging curve ball out over the plate. Very difficult to go against Detroits Overs in all games- but if it is to happen- it should be today.

I caution all who follow- these plays are based on a a 1-3 run difference that I see in the lines. It is still early in the season to get a good grip on what teams are going to do.

Umpires have history and the knowledge of their past has helped me to a 90-59 2005 record on totals alone.
      Interesting. Thanks and Good Luck.

OK - My final plays that I am betting! Last year if I took off a play -it generally won!

          1* Fl / Cinn Over 10
          1* Chi Wh Sox/KC Over 9 1/2
          1* Cleveland/Detroit Under 9 1/2

These plays are what I am playing today. I am keeping bets small as the season is still early. I decided not to play on Balt/LAA. due to the one of the pitchers record in night games is 14-3-1 on the under.

Atlanta/NY Mets have the public raising this total to 8 in some places and that is getting to be a bit much for you later players. I am holding off as I did not bet early enuff to take advantage of the lines either. I believe this game still goes over.

I haven't noticed you were posting totals again. Are you still doing basket totals or just baseball. Good Luck tonight, I may follow except for your Cinc Over. I do the opposite with streaks.
                Good Luck.

Don't want to butt in to Spear's thread with my opinion, but I use those ump leans a lot in how I make my determine my sides and totals.

I look how the certain umpire has done with the starting pitchers, and sometimes it can really give you an edge.

It's not the end all be all, but it can help make or break a play for me.

                    Good luck tonight Spear!

Thnx Rook, Sandman and all--- anytime add to the thread.
Not so bad -still have a game playing to tie up the night for me.

I would like to turn your attention to the game between San Antonio and Utah. W agerline has a fella with 19 straight wins needing Utah by 12 -I believe.

                      1* Fl / Cinn Over 10------------------------------------Push
                      1* Chi Wh Sox/KC Over 9 1/2---------------------------9-0 Top of 8th
                      1* Cleveland/Detroit Under 9 1/2-----------------------Loss

The Cleveland game was tough as I expected- I felt if the over streak was to be broken it would be tonight. Nahh didn't happen.
In the detroit game- just watched the manager Leyland blast his team- pissed about some of them not giving a full effort. Stormed out of the interview!
I agree- they looked really bad tonight.

Very Happy that I dropped the two games that I posted on Atlanta/Mets Over 7 (which would have been 8 by the time you played it) and LAA/Balt Over 9 1/2. This is what I mean when I say:

Ended up 0-2 for the day after all the Jamaican Rum had settled. 9-7 on Totals. Not impressed -Mr. Spearit but nice call on not playing the two above.

Seems like a lot of areas have to be covered to pitch a true winner. Wish I could see all elements of a winner like the 2 winners on Saturday.
so many factors to consider and so much time to sift thru the stats. These teams are unproven and as many vet cappers are saying- give the season time to develop or you may find your account to low to play it out.

Congrats to those who had a fine day.

If you believe in the power of the majority that is the basis of democracy, this should get your attention. Today, in Arizona, California, and New Mexico, and probably in Texas, more than 50% of children under the age of 13 are Hispanic.

If we really want to turn the U.S. southwest into a third world country, all we have to do is sit by and let it happen. I traveled in Mexico frequently, and I believe it would be absolutely disastrous to allow this to ever happen, but as events are shaping up, all we have to do is stumble around and do nothing to take back control of our borders and continue to welcome illegal aliens encouraged by the federal government of Mexico.......just what we've been doing for years.
