Ryan hit #57 but as the ball was going into the stands some kid reaches out with his glove trying to catch it and knocks the ball back onto the field. Ryan ends up with a single! After the game the ump admits he blew the call. Thanks a lot asshole!

Still, Howard is up 56-48 on Ortiz and has about a 30 point lead in batting average. They both have 14 games left and Ortiz would have to outhit by 9 HRs in 14 games for us to lose. Seems unlikely but I still wanted #57.


I'm done for the day. Too many disappointments in the world of sports for me for one day.
