  • Spears Tuesday Triumphs

The Bookie is soiling his britches. 6-0 last 2 days and I can tell ya- not many can say that. I am just about ready for a break before NBA playoffs and bases- but when the kettle is hot- why not pour another cup.

I will post these as I get to them- Understand that many cappers just give you picks- I want you to feel confident in your bets and see the reasoning behind it.

I have been confident in my picks lately (zoned in) and won't play unless it sings to me-such was my thread name yesterday- Spear Mons Monday Melody. Of course - bet on % of plays and not on the game!!

I love to help others learn how to cap and I learn as much from you- as we all can enjoy the money. It is not us against us - its us against the books- that alone is tough enuff!
I have noticed and am strengthened by other sites who freely give out systems and outlooks and it takes time to scour these sites properly and see the different angles. It provides scenes behind the hype - however, my plays revolve around percentages of winning.

If you are not doing this then I say your chances of success are based on others perception and you only have yourself to blame for losses- Its the line you get and how the bet was made - generally the timing of the bet and the different books that you can use can add to your account by 5%. Following the hot capper with a play- means absolutely nothing - if you take the play hours later than posted and the line has dropped aginst you.

Congrats to Gary (Garrister) on his first quarter win in the NBA last night!! Great info and is just what is needed for continued winners here. He posted out of the blue close to the time of tip off- but he was on the mark.

    On Mich/Old Dominipoo
OD rebounds very well and has the better defense but Mich. is at home and I see it this way. I do think this game will be Under as well. I do believe this game is tough to pick an overall winner and pride of Michigan (2004) NIT Champ and ODU (Upstart Late in The Season) is a great matchup!!

    Michigan Pick First Half

    Why Michigan
Michigan has the better of it whne speaking of FG-3 pt - Foul Line %. They will come out hot in the first half and OD will press them in the second to make a great game.

By the way- A lot of early smart money is being seen on ODU.
You have to watch these guys because they can set a market early and come back and put twice as much the other way before the game starts. I believe ODU comes back in the second half as mentioned and gives Mich a fight. Just the first half belongs to Michigan.

            In Hockey---
            Hordichuk suspended for initiating altercation

The NHL on Monday suspended Nashville Predators left wing Darcy Hordichuk three games without pay for initiating an altercation with Los Angeles Kings right wing George Parros on Saturday.

Hordichuk will forfeit $6,887.75, which will go to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.

Hordichuk, 25, was assessed a minor penalty for roughing and a misconduct for starting the altercation with Parros at 5:08 of the second period in a 6-4 road loss to the Kings.

Hordichuk will be eligible to return for the Predators' game against Columbus on April 3.

Allison out indefinitely with broken bone in hand

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Jason Allison is out indefinitely because of a broken bone in his hand, the team said Monday.

Allison, injured Saturday night against Montreal, has 17 goals and 43 assists in 66 games this season.
            ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players split on growth of salary cap

It's possible the free-agency period will be delayed more than a week from July 1 to allow the NHL Players' Association to discuss the merits of having the salary cap grow to about $46 million or to stay around $43 million to expose players to fewer losses if revenues don't keep pace with salaries.

It's believed the NHL will agree to extend the start of the free-agency period to somewhere around July 12 to allow players to fully discuss the issue.

League revenues have grown beyond expectations and players will see all monies paid into the escrow account returned to them. But there is considerable debate among players about whether the cap should be lowered to guard against a shortfall in revenues next season or if it should reflect this year's revenues (expected to reach about $2.1 billion).

Players are set to meet in North America and Europe in late June or early July.

One player representative told ESPN.com he thinks players are pretty much split on whether they want the cap to go up as high as possible or be restricted. In general, he said, players that have long-term deals are more supportive of keeping the escrow in check, while those who are free agents would like to see the cap rise to the maximum.

Player salaries cannot exceed 54 percent of league revenues. Any amount that salaries exceed, that figure must be paid back to owners through an escrow account drawn from players' salaries. It was believed that players might have to pay up to 15 percent of their salaries in the first season following the lockout
