I posted this back at the begining of February when I saw the Mets were -114 to win the EAST. I am a big mets fans, but come on know, win the East at least once before we start talking World Series, baby steps.

Just remember before season started last year Yanks were odds on favorite at 3-1 to win it all and look what happened.
There are a lot better values out there for this season than the Mets at 5-1, thats for sure.

i love it how the mets year and year out spend all this money, have twice as much a payroll as atlanta--at the same time atlanta is cutting back payroll every year b/c of gay company ownership, and still gets the job done. braves have one of the best if not the best farm systems in the league which is why we have a bunch of nobodys that turn out with great seasons.

Keep in mind that the Braves also lost there pitching coach this year who has been vital to great pitching in Atlanta
