I live in Maine so there are no real Colleges to cheer for.
I have always wanted to go watch a game at the Dean Dome.. Is it as impressive in person as it looks on TV??

Is he going to improve on THAT? I doubt it!
he caught 14 passes mostly in a catchup roll and this was when stephen davis was on his way out....I just think the last game was one of those ones that got out of hand real fast and just progressively got worse as the day went on...So i do not think the qty of receptions for smith will go up, but the quality and importance will....One thing for sure.....John Fox is a good coach and i figure he will have a gameplan in place that gives him a better chance to win....rarely when 2 teams play more than once does the game follow the same pattern......i also do not believe rex grossman is the answer to a poor offense....an improvement yes, but not a huge difference maker....i think they will do to him what they did to eli manning...stop the run and go man on the corners......i think they force grossman into three int's today......Panthers 24 Bears 6

It was awesome just staring at all the banners and walking around the dome they have team photos from way back when. You go to get a soda and walk the path all the way around the court and history is EVERYWHERE!

I went one day and the doors were unlocked (no game). We walked in and there was NOBODY there. For about 2 hours we inspected the whole arena and even went down to center court. It was amazing looking at everything from there..... unbelieveable!!!!!! Standing on the logo and looking up at the stands, banners, and retired numbers was something i will always remember!

I also check out the campus of NC St and forgot i had my Tar Heels hat on. That wasn't good!

                  Wayne,
I respect the hell out of NC, a top drawer program. I would suggest that next time you are in College Town, that you try to take in a game at Cameron Indoor in Durham. I was fortunate to see Tim Duncan of Wake come into Duke a few years back and it is by far the best hoops Arena around. The atmosphere is unmatched and the Cameron Crazies are fun to watch. Just my two cents

As much as I hate Puke thats another place I would love to see a game at.. They are by far the biggest home court advantage in NCAA Hoops IMO..

Believe it or not and i'm not sure really why but the last time we were in Raleigh with friends we were going to go to Durham. The people who lived there that we were with actually told us NOT TO when me and my girl were leaving on a day trip. We went to visit NC St that day instead.

They actually said that Durham and the area were not the best or safest to visit. They said NC St would be much better and safer to visit so i didn't argue and i went. I have not been to Durham for that reason and that reason only but i would love to check out that Arena!

                                Yeah,
I made this NC trip awhile back and heard the same crap about Durham. I am not so sure though as you are directly on campus. I will tell you this, getting a ticket is not an easy task. Ended up buying from a scapler for $125. When I was there everyone needed a tickets, very few scapler's were selling. Also made a trip out to NC State, but it was not the same as Duke or NC. Chapel Hill is very fun place to throw back a few! Crashed a couple frat parties (this was at least 6-7 years back) and the women were off the hook.
