I was a bit curious as to why there wasnt more of a "spy" on Vince all night as well but he is so strong, quick, etc.. I am not sure how much that may have helped...

I saw a "spy" at several times as well but not the entire night as you referred too, I was just suprised with the freedom he was able to run with consistently. Maybe he just deserves that much more credit...

Yes I do.....
I don't know how many of you guys ever play football or at this level, but you don't make a Division 1 school like USC or Texas a unless your good and talented.....The NFL is a bit above these teams on because they get Paid, and it's their job to study football 24-7.....Every player on either team could play in the NFL if given the right break....Most that get cut, play Canadian Football or NFL Europe if they still want to play....
Vince Young is just that good, face it....But he has a lot more to learn when he goes to the NFL because of all the sophisticated defenses.....In the Pros the QB has to be able to read defenses because that's what patterns are dictated by...
If he goes to a team with a Bad Offensive line, even he would be a bust like Vick....Put Vick on NE offense and everyone would be saying how great he is..
Whether Young and Linert comes out will be determined by who will pick them and when...It's all about the money these days..

i dont see how you guys can call him overrated....he made BIG plays. He was a man amongst boys out there. Give him some credit. He was calm never went down after the first hit and made tons of plays under pressure.

Single handedly????? Last time I checked Young didn't play on Denfense.....and IMO that's how Texas won the game.

let us not forget this kid was down 12 with 6 minutes to go on a huuuuge stage and did not buckle.....n fact he played with unbelievable confidence....i felt it through the TV.....i knew they would score....hoped he wouldn;t but in my gut i knew.....i saw the look in his eyes and the way the other players were looking to him......I do not know what you guys know about him, but he is a leader and talented.....I do not know how it will correlate to the NFL (does anybody? even scouts?), but he is a little more rounded i think than vick...He is much bigger and has a much bigger arm, so to me that tells me he has the tools......You can hear about the O-line, the receivers and blah blah blah......This kid did it against a team who had not lost in 3 years.....hats off to him
