Why is every other post on this board a GOY, Lock of the Year, GOW, GOM???

Where is the integrity on this board?? How can we take someone with 2 posts who says this is the Lock of the decade seriously??

I can understand long standing members of this board posting a strong game and emphasis it that this is their GOY, like Wayne about a month ago with Miami over Milwaukee in the NBA. But if everyone posts a GOY every week how can we take them seriously?? I think I even saw a halftime bet of the year today?? How the hell can anyone make a GOY on a halftime bet?? Basically it took this poster (Winton I believe) 5 minutes to make a GOY?? That's a fuckin' joke, sorry if I'm offending anybody.

Also, when you are claiming a GOY where is the back up, write up??? Any fool off the street can say this is my GOY, he's got a 50% chance of being right. I can honestly say, there's over 50% of posters here who just post plays without even looking any further than the 2 teams playing, that is scary. My problem is that when jokers like that proclaim GOYs, it takes the integrity away from all other serious cappers on this board. Does anybody else see my point??

I'm sorry if I'm raising a topic that will cause problems. I just find it very funny when people make statements like that without backing it up. Wayne had an excellent write up on his Miami GOY play and I'm very thankful for him posting it. I must say I'm probably speaking out of order because I myself don't post much but lurk and tail very selectively here. I've followed some people here who have been very good, not just for a week or a month but year in and year out. Props to all who post everyday consistently. My only problem is posters who just scream out GOY on a random play just for attention. The good cappers here know better and don't need that attention nor do they need these jokers wasting time and space.

no need to apologize kappa, as soon as i saw it i was thinking the same thing. the only apology around here needs to come from me to guys like frank, kapt, rj, wayne etc. because i was bitching at them after they would get on guys cases for stuff like this. now that i am seeing more of it, i understand and wish i'd waited untill i was around a little more before being the protector..lol. i have no idea why someone would come on and make this post with no credibility built up, but hey, post what you'd like everyone, i know what cappers i look to for advice.
