If you don't like the word "LOCK" in the title, don't read the man's thread...the forum should be restricted to talking about what side is right and why as opposed to the jargon one uses for his plays...

You're WRONG! This forum is about HELPING PEOPLE OUT! Most people come to forums like this to get help and share info. When we have new guys that come here and see a guy with 2 posts talking about a Game of the Decade, then it loses we have a problem.

It's not like Wayne, or Chuck, or Kapt, Frank, or any of the others are posting it........these guys have proven themselves. It's called LOOKING OUT!

closest lock i can think of was orlando 2 years ago early in the season losing like 15 in a row vs. mavs who were like -10000

All I can say is at this point when a newcomer comes up here and immediately posts a GOY, lock, etc., I am suspicious because what we have seen in the past with folks like Living Legend and a good number of other posters over the past few years.
Although there are some exceptions for sure, the first things which come to mind are the following:
1) He is really a service and hopes that by hitting a big game right away and then go on a nice winning streak, he can lure some people into paying him eventually.
2) He is a rank amateur and/or someone who simply hopes he can become the center of attention by winning some games.
3) This is a corollary of #1;he is simply someone who has already been exposed and booted off BC before and is returning to try his hand again.
4) And this is the most unlikely: he really is someone who does have a big game(although it it still difficult to me to believe that someone's very first post would be a GOY/Lock).
I am sure above list is obvious to most, but for anyone just coming to this forum for the first time and/or is new to gambling itself, I thought I would point it out.
If anyone has any other motivations in addition to mine, please state.
ps I guess another sinister motivation is that someone comes up here and tries to lose(but doesn't bet himself), hoping people will follow him and lose real money.

no need to apologize kappa, as soon as i saw it i was thinking the same thing. the only apology around here needs to come from me to guys like frank, kapt, rj, wayne etc. because i was bitching at them after they would get on guys cases for stuff like this. now that i am seeing more of it, i understand and wish i'd waited untill i was around a little more before being the protector..lol. i have no idea why someone would come on and make this post with no credibility built up, but hey, post what you'd like everyone, i know what cappers i look to for advice.

Fan, I'm glad to see you come around. I wish I knew why we get the Legends, Raneman etal. They create so much negativity.

I gain nothing by challenging the Legends at BC. I post and play my own picks. I rarely play any other BC cappers plays. I've been around long enough to see too many guys get suckered in with their hype BS.

I truly believe in my heart that if BC didn't have guys like Kapt, Chuck, Mojo, myself and others BC would have little integrity. Yes, we are all big boys and make our own decisions. We need to continue to expose these guys for what they are. FRAUDS and Attention seekers.

I personally see davidson giving UNC a problem. Davidson isn't as much as a cupcake as people think. My "LOCK" for that game is staying away from it.
