Horrible Officiating!

I don't believe in fixes, but these officials screwed Iowa big time all day long. I did have money on Iowa, but I felt robbed as a football fan from a possible great finish to the game! Maybe these refs were paid off, I am having my doubts with these small conference refs in important bowl games that they can't handle the speed of big time college football. They are way over their heads and only the best college football refs should be in these games! You don't make an offsides call on that play no matter what! I hope they look into this in the future and only have top quality refs for these games.

I have heard....And correct me if I'm wrong, that college officials are just hometown guys who do this on their off-time and not for a living. I know some of the college games I've seen in my hometown have had guys I KNOW live in the area.

If this is true, it would be very easy to assume these guys may be on the take. Not saying that's what happened today, but there have been thoughts to this very idea.

THEY NEED PAID REFS WHO ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR SHITTY OFFICIATING.

Just like the pros. Bad calls and your fired. PERIOD!!!

This, unfortunately, is NOT a stand-up statement. Sorry man, Iowa got down so many because the officials screwed them in the first half. That bogus roughing the passer call set up the Florida TD at the end of the half. Hard to get out of that hole. Again, I didn't have money on the game, so it made no difference to me. Just calls 'em how I sees 'em. And if Florida was soooo deserving, how many points did they score in the second half?
