what about the fumble by Rhodes??

Why is it that Peyton "choked" when the DEFENSE gives up 206 yards rushing???
and they got the ball right back after they fumbled the kick....so that did not hurt them

EXACTLY. and the offense only scored after colts D caused 2 huge turnovers by SD. W/o colts D. Chargers win by 40

They were DEVASTATED and half of them looked stunned and ready to cry. I'm serious when i say they looked like it was the end of their season.

thats manning & the colts every january. When the pressure is on the guy folds. Plain and simple. I'm so sick and tired of the manning apologists.

Bry, You know i'm not a Colts fan but you or anyone who ACTUALLY watched the game could see that the second the Colts snapped the ball it was like there were no offensive lineman in front of Manning. It was like a High School team blocking. He couldn't take 2 steps without someone grabbing his jersey!

Seriously, who really gives a fuck if the Colts go 16-0? I could tell they were dejected that they lost as Wayne pointed out, but the fact still remains they have homefield throughout the playoffs, and if they make it to the SB, they're playing in a dome which is even a greater advantage for them. I'm sure if they would rather win the SB, and they can still do that obviously.

You just can't blame the "W" or "L" one one person and one person only....

I don't care who you are.

Tom Brady is NOT the reason the Pats won back to back super bowls....

just like Donavon McNabb is NOT the reason they have not won the super bowl these past years.

To put that kind of burden on ONE PLAYER is not just.

Peyton didn't do anything CHOKE wise to LOSE the game for Indianapolis....BUT...he also didn't do what he's capable of doing to win it for them either.

I totally agree, but with that said, if manning or dungy were truely GREAT they would take/make the necessary adjustments. Its not easy to do but if your a REAL SB contender you make adjustments and move forward. Its not that hard to do. Happens all the time in every game.

Like I said...talk to me in January. I checked the calanders...and it's still december.

Wait...no, Colts are still in first.

Wait...no, Colts still have a bye.

Wait....no..Colts still have home field thru out the playoffs.

                      damn choker...can't believe it.

So when manning and the colts drop 40 points on teams and are 13-0 all you here is manning this and manning that blah blah blah. They lose a game and it's not his fault that his offense could not put up more than 17 against a sub par D.

It's all about 1 game. People used to say the same of Marino and Elway. Elway got the rings and that's all it's about. If Manning gets one (and i think he will), i think the talk will stop about him and choking. Some like Bry might continue to say it but for the most part Peyton will here it until he cashes in the "Golden Ticket"!

And with that being said...I'm sure it slipped yoru mind that two of the offensive linemen went out with injuries in the first half and didn't return.

But I'm sure that has nothing to do with it.

And i"m glad you only read what you want to read to make your silly obsession with nailing Peyton to the cross as either the savior or nothing valid.

It's almost humorous how much you dispise him...and it does nothing but cloud your judgement, and everyone sees it.
