I really like the Bears this weekend at home. I think they win the game SU. The Panthers have had a good season however they've also had a cake schedule.

What's the pulse in Chicago for this weeks game?

I'm actually listening to the sports radio station right now, and the pulse is a lot of anger right now.

All you hear in the national sports news about this game is how the Bears haven't played anyone yet and this is their first big test, and they're gonna get blown out....

Well I hate to rain on the pundits parade, but Carolina has a WORSE schedule then the Bears do!!!

Bears opponents record 29-43 (.402)
Carolina's opp record 30-51 (.370)

So where is the same people dogging the Carolina schedule??

Also there is the whole fight with the two bears players that is being OVER PLAYED in Chiacgo. They are sick of it and just want to get on the field.

The game is being tabbed as the most important game since the home playoff game back in 2001.

I think it comes down to running the ball and stopping the run...and the bears do both better.

I think Carolina's D will be too much for Chicago's O. No doubt Chicago's D will hold Carolina in check, both teams will run the ball, and it'll be low scoring, but I gotta take Jake over Kyle Orton.

If the game is decided by those two players...I agree. Orton I dont' believe is ready to be the guy yet...although he's shown some signs of brillance (the pass to Moose vs New Orleans in the 4th, and the 99 yard drive against Detroit come to mind) But if he's forced to throw the ball....bears are done.

Carolina is very beatable....if you nutralize Davis...and you keep Smith in check...what's left for Jake?

IMO home field and rushing will make the difference. Bears will control the clock on offense. I control Carolina on defense. Throw in a few points and I'll take Da Bears.
