I too respect your opinion. I was NOT accusing you of overly abuse, but you have to admit, there were a lot who called this guy out.

He was asked to change his record and he did. I still don't see how he was so arrogant. Read his 1st post on his smasher game for last night. It just didn't sound that bad. I'm sorry, I don't see the difference between someone popping off GOY's every weekend and this guy who says he has a lock. It doesn't deserve the attention he received. And he won. He gave the ultimate answer, a win.

As Spark said, they are here to figure these things out. A bunch of pointless bashing only makes matters worse. And when the guys who've been here the longest get into too, others follow because it makes them 'look' cool to the elder members. I'm NOT directing this at you per say. I've been here for a while as an outside observer. The negative energy when someone comes here to post their plays can be overwhelming.

Last thing....I know exactly why he was questioned. Guys may bet hard earned cash on unsubstantiated claims. But some go way overboard to call him out. That's just as wrong....

Congrats to all who had Baltimore. I've stated about a dozen times now that i don't care about the guys record. Win, Lose, or draw, i just want him to eliminate FALSE claims while he's here and just pick the games and mingle. We have our reasons as to why these false claims lead to problems and they have been explained 100 times before.

I had a great debate with someone in his thread last night about the actual game. It had zero to do with him or his pick, it just happened to be the thread where everyone was talking. I respected the conversation and in the end i wished him luck and thanked him for a well respected and mature debate.

That's what i LOVE about this forum. He was on the right side and i wasn't. It's not the 1st and it won't be the last Touchdown play i lose but i really respected him for just giving me his perspective on the game whether i agreed with it or not. Another great thing about this place is getting other people's perspective on a game from different parts of the country. When services say "I have a contact at the game or in the City" they feel like they know more than us even though their lying. We truly have some of that here. Hell, we have reporters all over the country!

I also noticed a couple others last night that couldn't wait to jump on the Pitt. backers the minute the game was tied heading to halftime. I have NO RESPECT for them. They couldn't wait to rub it in their faces that they were losing ....... You know who you are and one was even banned at halftime for being a total jackass. You guys are classless. Not once when Pitt. went up 7-0 or 17-10 did someone start a thread bashing rainman or Baltimore backers. Why? Because they had class and were not going to enjoy another members loss. For what reason did you feel the need? Vindication? This site isn't about that. There was a usual Pitt. rally thread started at kickoff like there are many other days but they still were not bashing anyone who had Baltimore at any time.

Hopefully rainman comes back and learned something. If not, the same result will occur. After reading his emails i'll tell you this, i don't think the problems with his arrogance are over.

You're probably right frank. I just wouldn't think of rubbing a loss in anyones face here. It is total immaturity and i've NEVER felt great enough about someone else' loss to post threads about it. Really disappointing IMO.

BC Members have short Memories

Does anyone remember Prolific? He came to this site last NBA season boasting something like a 18-1 record with NBA totals. Of course many jumped on the bandwagon buying into the BS. Shit they gave him his own forum. Threads were being created all over the place. Prolific got off to a good start. Many BC were treating him like royalty.

Long story short. Prolific was a previous banned BC member. He was posting any game. He didn't care if it won or lost. His intention was for them to lose. Once the games started losing the shit hit the fan. Prolific and one of his cronies created thread after thread how the forum sucks. The mods suck.

Moral of the story. For all you newbies. When the likes of Wayne, Kaptain, Chuck and others call out the likes of rainman it is not from jealousy. We've been here long enough to know it's a possible scam. When a member post the shit that was posted by rainman more times than not there's an ulterior motive.

Speaking of jealousy. There's many new cappers that come to this site that do well. Most post their games with very little fanfare. The one's that do well and do so without all the hype attention getting BS do not get scared off by the vet BC members. If anything they get encouragment win or lose.
