Of course that might change tonight. But I'm putting my money with my logic.
I agree and the Local books i've talked to around here are ALL GETTING KILLED in the NFL this year!

Sooner or later locals will take games off the board and limit the $$$ you can bet. It happens everytime you have Bad teams and SuperBowl Caliber teams...
At least they had home field advantage.

I play in 2 NFL Survivor pools and i picked Pitt. in one and Cinn. in the other. I could have taken T.B. as the biggest fav. but the game scared me with a hurting Carnell, a QB in Simms, and another new starter for s.f.

        • Open your eyes, the three most lopsided plays all lost yesterday.JAX 79%,PATS 74%, And The SAINTS only 64% but still lost. vegas rarely loses the heavily lopsided games. If you can't understand that logic I can't help you. if you think it is a better idea to look at 1 team and say they are going to kill that team that is not handicapping.

Bet who you want PITT might cover but for me I will always be on the houses side.Vegas makes more money on sports betting than the local drunk at the bar who says pittsburgh is gonna kill em'.Sorry I think I will bet with the side that wins the most money.

Chuck, I agree. I mostly play dogs in the NFL. I've been getting killed the last month.

what book would limit NFL teams that are dogs by 20pts...but then give me a 45 pt favorite in LSU against North Texas and say "but that's ok there"...when NFL teams get to 17pt favorites, a lot of people just don't bet on that game, it's not in there best interest.....

Are those ********* numbers because they don't mean much. You can have 90% on one side but if the bets from the other 10% equal more who's smarter. Those numbers are simply inaccurate when it comes to actual money on one side or the other!

                    First, yesterday was one day.

Second, the lopsided games don't win or lose EVERY game. Long-term it's almost 50/50

                    • also not true about the RAMS VS. COLTS 58% of the bets were actually on the RAMS that night. Alot of people were taking the dog in that game. 85% on PITT that number is obscene.

We have light up night and every gets into it....Tonight is a very special night, because they are honoring one of our greatest announcers..He was the founder of the Terrible Towel.....
Cowher always runs the score up on Monday night if he can...
I can guarantee Wright will in trouble all night hearing because of the crowd..He hates this team and coach..

AGAIN..... % means nothing. 9 guys bet $10 on Balt. and one bets $1,000 on Pitt. So the 90% means what??? Those numbers are worthless!

                          • those are not ********* numbers. sports insights much more acurate. It is much greater than 50/50 when you get more than 70% on one side. Argue all you want in the long run if you take the side the book needs you will win in games over 70% lopsided.Atlanta was 70% last week and they cover so yes they do win and if there is ever a night the public can pull off a win it is MNF.But I can not ignore 85 % of bets and the line going up 4 to 5 points.
