If Texas and USC play this Saturday, USC is a favorite by at least a TD if not more.

Notre Dame had a legit shot, and almost did. No one else will be that patient and control the ball that long against them.

USC will win out, and quite easily. Toughest test comes against UCLA...but that's it.

usc is clearly better than texas.

texas plays in the small 12. Could be one of the worst conferences in the BCS. Seriously outside of texas whos good in the small 12?? colorado NO, mizzu i think not.

You are so right Rook! Hell, Va Tech is a better football team then UT! Texas is beating up on everybody here in the Big 12 (which there is NO one worth a shit in this league this year) they gave Texas Tech a bullshit ranking of #10 so that UT could gain some points. If Va Tech wins out, they will have played a much tougher schedule, in a conference way tougher then the Big 12 and deserve a shot against USC. I however hope that UT gets to play USC so we can watch Lienert, Bush and Co blow them out. As long as Mack is coaching that team, they will not win a National Championship!! Like I said Va Tech could beat that team!!

Oklahoma is rebuilding, Kansas St is rebuilding, Nebraska is rebuilding...hell Baylor is in the top half of the conference, and Texas Tech was THE most overrated team in the nation.

Tmac...I am not dogging Texas. I think they are clearly a top 3-4 team...but to be put ahead of USC who has done nothing but win is a flat out joke.

Trust me TMac, as good as UT thinks they are, they have played NO one! They are hanging their hat on that "BIG" win over OSU, which was a nice win.....but dominant? I would be the first to admit it if UT was that good but their not!! You know as well as I do that Pete would out coach Mack just like Stoops did prior to this year, oh with one HUGE difference........Pete has the HORSES to expose that sorry ass secondary of UT!
