You're probably right, Rook. However, if ND wins this game, there is a good chance they play for the national title, assuming they get past Tennessee.

You could be right, although I'm sure Virginia Tech and Texas would have something to say about that if they run the table.

I'm not sure I ever thought of ND as a legit contender this year....and I still don't.

But the future seems so bright right now. That game did so much for Notre Dame it's not even funny. Yeah, it would have been even better if they would have won...but they have gained the national respect now that they had lost in the past years.
