Worst Head Coaches in NFL

I saw a thread asking for early MVP, what about coaches that will/should be looking for a job next season.
Start with the OBVIOUS:
Mike Tice = took what Denny Green made and flushed it right down the toilet!!

Brian Billick = For being an offensive genius he sure hasn't showed an ability to spot talent, T.O. looked like a Diva refusing to go there but turned out to be right call.

Mike Sherman = not really his fault but who else do you blame!!
sometimes the well just runs dry.

It'll probably be a shorter list naming the good NFL head coaches. Most are too conservative.

Shottenheimer and Dennis Green are miserable playoff coaches . In fact so is Tony Dungy.

i do not think sherman is a bad coach at all....the cupboard was bare...now it is injurd and bare.......i think he has an outstanding winning % over his tenure

What about Mike Holmgren? IMO he's very over-rated. He was lucky to have one of the greatest QB on the field. Without Favre in Seattle he's proven he's a lousy coach.

There is no way Herm Edwards should be included with the droup of coaches that has been bashed thus far. He had the Jets within a FG (which was missed twice) of beating Pitt last season and going to the AFC championship game.

He has had the bad fortunate of having to play 2 of the past 3 seasons with third string QB's, which is simply devastating in the NFL.

His players LOVE him, he is a proven leader, motivator and better than 75% of the other coaches in the league.

I think most fans would consider their coach as a bad coach with a few exceptions such as Bill in NE.

Herm Edwards is a Dunce but somehow the players respond to him. I can never figure out a word he's saying.

Mike Tice should not even be considered a coach ... he's not.

If Jim Mora Jr. is anything like his old man he will also fail miserably in playoff competition. ( one of the worst ever )

If both Peyton and Eli remain with their respective coaches indefinitely ... Eli will get to the Superbowl before Peyton.

Sooner or later Archie will realize that Peyton is with a LOSER and will advise his son to move on .

Neil, you and I have discussed Mora Sr. His coaching in the playoffs has got to be one of the worst in history. Remember Iron Head? LOL

Normally, I'd agree with you on Dungy. I don't anymore. He's always had a great offense and now he has a great defense. If he loses in the playoffs then he should be fired.
