My vote for worst head coach of all time is RAY HANDLEY from the NYG!!! He replaced Bill Parcells in NY and I think he is still searching for his first "W"

Almost 100% sure. Dom Capers, Mike Tice, Jim Haslett, Mike Martz.

Fired if they don't make the playoffs. Herm Edwards, Norv Turner, Jeff Fisher.

Doubt it, but would not be suprised if they were fired. Mike Holmgren, Brian Billick, Mike Shanahan.

I hope they fire. Lovie Smith.

Rich Kotite is the worst coach in NFL history.

Although, Mike Tice is closing the gap.
Am I the longest tenured BC member?

JH, I posted the same thing. He was fuckin horrible. I truly don't think I've even seen a worse coaching performance. The team he inherited was extremely talented.

What About Ray Perkins( Not Sure You Guys Remember Him Or Not)??? In 8 Yrs He Was A Head Coach At N.y Giants And Tampa Bay, His Record Was 42-75 With Only 1 Playoff Won And 1 Loss In 1981. That Was His Best Year Finishing 9-7.
I Would Nominate Sam Wyche On This List Too But Many Probably Will Disagree With Me Because He Took Cincy To Super Bowl Once But Lost To The S.f 49ers In 1998. His 12 Yrs Record Is 84-107 With Only 3 Winning Seasons. He Had Two 8-8 Seasons; The Rest Were All Losing Seasons.

Tice is pretty bad...but Martz has got to be the worst gameday coach I have ever seen.

Jay - RAY Handley - There's a blast from the past ... short changed by The Lord with nothing but mashed potatoes between his ears.

Sam Rutigliano ( Browns ) was another Nit Wit

I went to College with Dick Kotite ... we got along OK

That is hilarious that you mention him as well! Clear this up for me quite I was younger when he became the coach. I dont think he was even a co-ordinator when he got the job???
I remember he was the 2:00 clock manager and Time-out co-ordinator. He was supposed to be a math genious that could maximize clock time with the use of time-outs!!!

Frank!!! Do you recall any of that????

He was not a coordinator. He was considered a math genious with a good memory for detail.

That clearly didn't help him coach. I've seen lots of bad coaches. He was without question the worst coach ever. As I stated earlier he inherited a SB winning team. They played horrible under him.

Chuck often bitches about Cowher. Pitt fans often bitch about Cowher. Personally I think he's one of the better coaches in the league. I'd take him as the Giant head coach anytime.
