Guys, I've waited long enough, I've seen everything I've needed to see, and I KNOW all I need to KNOW about this game. I feel I know this team better than anyone and when it comes down to putting your hard earned cash down, I usually deliver with this team. Here it is, my one and only GOY in the college foots!
************************************************
OHIO STATE -1 ($3,300 to win $3,000)
************************************************
I was not planning on pounding a game this hard this early, but this situation is TOO good not to! Let's take a look at this game from a few different angles.
Let's look at the obvious first. Ohio State at the shoe at night, which they have NEVER lost at night at home. Anyone that has been to the 'SHoe like myself and JMarty knows what an atmosphere for college football, none like it! It will probably be the loudest it has EVER been in that stadium and trust me, I've been to Ohio State/Michigan and it will be louder than that even and that 's saying something. So just a little bit of a home field advantage, not much but just a little.....
Now we all know Mac Brown aka John Cooper's record in big games, I mean has this guy ever won a big game???? Now we all know they played a high school team last week, but think about how much more tough it will be playing nobody and then when you come in and get stopped by one of the best D's in the country, after things came so easily last week, it has to put you in a sense of panic........and that's not where their state of mind needs to be with 105,000 crazy drunks being louder than they ever tough humanly possible. I can really see this game getting away from Texas early.....
Here's a little interesting stat I found:
Brown is 0-7 ATS (-7.7 Units) in road games after a win by 35 or more points as the coach of TEXAS.
The average score was TEXAS 24.7, OPPONENT 28.6
Now I have watched Ohio State for many years and this is probably the best offensive team they have had in a LONG time, possibly EVER after all things are said and done this year. I just can't get over the speed of this team. Every position has 4.3 and 4.4 guys. Even at QB. Troy Smith will come in and play quite a bit but won't start, this won't be and issue and don't believe the media hype on this one. Both have played and been successful. Their offense this year and late last year has been anything but Tressel like. THey spread the field and throw it all over and with the versitle Ted Ginn at WR and H Back, they do everything.
Another big advantage to Ginn is in the kicking game. THose are yards that a lot of people forget about. Texas will either have to kick to him or punt it out of bounds, either way the Bucks have a huge advantage!
I think I could go all day with this..........but just know my track record with this team. Type in GOY and punisher and see what you get with this Ohio State team. I look for more of the same saturday! Good luck guys!
OTHER BIG PLAYS:
COLORADO ST. OVER 57 ($1,100 to win $1,000)
TEXAS TECH -34 ($1,100 to win $1,000)
NOTRE DAME +7 ($1,100 to win $1,000)
GOOD LUCK!!!
