Coach Gibbs gets NO love. Yeah he had a rough season in Year 1 but it's not like he had a great team and you know he does have THREE Super Bowl rings to his credit.

So its ok for a team you kick you off if you under-perform (not pay) and if you over-perform you get a hand shake... Money talks Bullshit walks! I.E. Every fucken player that got released before their contract was up b/c they sucked. If organizations want players to honor their shit, they (organization) should honor their part as well. Keep their players until their contract is up, no matter what.

Why is it that everyone calls him selfish? A 7 year/49 mil contract is NOT a 7 year deal. It's a year to year deal. I haven't seen 1 post that says the owners should stand by and pay him for the full 7 years if he gets hurt, can't perform, etc. They can change the contract at ANY time. But TO is selfish b/c he wants to be paid what he's worth? The guy has earned his money and then some. Now I think this all should have been handled out of the press and behind closed doors. And I think if that happened, Philly would have redone his contract.
