They played four games without him last year. Went to the Superbowl without his help. He had a good year but does everyone think he over played the 8 mil plus endorsements. I guess the Eagles should of expected 12 games or less for that money.

Everyone gets hurt but my employer pays 80% on workmans comp and 60% dissability.

Look what Westbrook did and what he got paid.

Oh please. The Feagles don't have a shot at the super bowl with or without him......Don't kid yourself

People defend T.O. and try to make cases for Sharpies, Cell Phones in the end zone, Joe Horn's antics, Keyshawn Johnson's spunk, Randy Moss's butt rubbing the goal post, Jeff George's insubordination, etc. The list goes on and on.

Bottom Line: These things are NOT the earmark of a Championship team. You will NOT find these things on a Parcells team or Belichick Team.

You WILL find them on pansy teams like the New Orleans Saints who cut up on the sideline while losing and play dice on the flight home after losing a game that just knocked them out of playoff contention.

That's the bottom line. You can make a case for T.O.'s antics and his right to this or his right to that, but if left unchecked it will thwart the goal of serious minded coaches. Gruden benched Keyshawn for insubordination and that is what Reid should do.

This whole thing has become a sideshow and a distraction, which not only was PREDICTABLE but was, in fact, PREDICTED by many. Do you want to win a Superbowl or not? If so, get rid of ALL of that nonsense and follow the Bill Belichick script and the Bill Parcells script.

In his first year John Fox benched a PRO BOWL Offensive Lineman for not showing up for a court date--an off-the-field personal matter that nothing to do with the team or football. But John Fox had the team's attention and the team's RESPECT. The following season he took that team to the Superbowl despite coming off a 6-10 season. Fox got it right.

After Joe Horn pulled his little stunt with the Cell Phone a lot of people were saying, "Oh gee, he's just having fun. Let them entertain". Bullshit. Let them win football games.

Reporters asked Bill Parcells that week what he would do if one of his players pulled that on his team. Parcells said, "My Players won't do that".

The reporter repeated the question to Parcells, explaining to him (as though he were stupid) that the question is "hypothetical"...

What "IF" a player did that on your team Bill? Parcells remained steadfast. "My players won't do that".

              Exactly.
