Thanks for the replies guys!
Tony The Cost is $300 each + splitting the Proxy Server which is $200 for the season (not the week like bhs said). It would be about $300+ $40 (splitting Proxy Server 5 ways). So $340 total.
dmurphy, I did mention you to John. Let me talk to him. The Proxy would be worth it though at only $40 each for the season. In all honesty we would worry or wonder if you had the picks in each week. Things happen and people forget. The only thing with the Proxy is John said you have to go with him when signing up to introduce the Proxy. I guess it's so they know who it is or something.
John, Any thoughts or comments?
chuck i think John said the cutoff was early or mid August. I think it would be fun and all you have to do is pick 1 game each week!

dmurphy i talked to John and he wouldn't have a problem with you turning in the picks each week. If he's fine with it than so am i and it would save us the Proxy to make it just $300 each. Let me know if you are interested. You would be in if you are and we could talk from there.

You pick 5 games each week against the spread. The winner last year Won $200,000. I think they pay other spots too but i'm not clear on that yet.
John (ez winners) emailed me about playing it and i told him i was in. After talking we figured we could put together a 5 man team to split the cost 5 ways and each guy gets to make 1 pick per week as part of the team. We would each still get about $40,000 each if we pulled off a 1ST place finish.
The catch here is we need someone who lives in or near Las Vegas to go sign us up. It has to be done in person along with the weekly picks. We can get a proxy service that will turn in our picks each week for about $200. That c-overs them doing this for you all season. The problem is the initial sign up has to be done by one of us in person. John can't do it and neither can i. We need one of the 3 that join us to be able to do this. It is the MOST important thing to get started.
We are looking for well established members here because we want someone to join us who we know and trust a little bit. In the end we need 3 guys, one of which lives in or near Las Vegas. Homer, if you are listening, we have a spot saved for you if you're interested. It would cost $300 each plus the cost of splitting the proxy server 5 ways.
If you do have interest in this and have read the above closely than post in this thread and let us know. I can get your email address so don't post it. We will get back to you!
Thanks,
ez winners & wayne1218
Wayne,
How do you get in touch with one of those "proxy services'?
That is the biggest problem with those Tourneys is the ability to get picks in every week not living in Las Vegas. If you have any info I would greatly appreciate it. I wanted to do the Golden Nugget contest last year but the problem is getting the picks in every week.
Thanks Wayne.

John, if you read this let me know if you have a line on one of those proxy services. I appreciate your willingness to help but it is tough to get plays in every week. If you are called out of town, sick, too busy, or who knows what, missing a week would be death in a Tourney like that since you would basically go 0-fer that week.
I can understand the Tourney not allowing online picks once people are signed up but it sure makes things a little more difficult.
Hopefully you will see this John and be able to help.
Thanks.
