  • Anyone Interested in Playing in the Hilton NFL Superbook Contest?

This is one of the most famous and popular Contests in Las Vegas. It is listed in many places and the cost to get in is $1500. You pick 5 games each week against the spread. The winner last year Won $200,000. I think they pay other spots too but i'm not clear on that yet.

John (ez winners) emailed me about playing it and i told him i was in. After talking we figured we could put together a 5 man team to split the cost 5 ways and each guy gets to make 1 pick per week as part of the team. We would each still get about $40,000 each if we pulled off a 1ST place finish.

The catch here is we need someone who lives in or near Las Vegas to go sign us up. It has to be done in person along with the weekly picks. We can get a proxy service that will turn in our picks each week for about $200. That c-overs them doing this for you all season. The problem is the initial sign up has to be done by one of us in person. John can't do it and neither can i. We need one of the 3 that join us to be able to do this. It is the MOST important thing to get started.

We are looking for well established members here because we want someone to join us who we know and trust a little bit. In the end we need 3 guys, one of which lives in or near Las Vegas. Homer, if you are listening, we have a spot saved for you if you're interested. It would cost $300 each plus the cost of splitting the proxy server 5 ways.

If you do have interest in this and have read the above closely than post in this thread and let us know. I can get your email address so don't post it. We will get back to you!

    Thanks,

NICE ........ A Top 20 puts a chunk of change in our pocket! This could really pay off and be fun. We just need the "Players" to make it work!

Wayne, when do you need to know by? The only problem I might have is I'm having a closing Sept 10 and I'm looking to relocate out west to Calif. and it could get a little hairy, while I'm looking for a house and job! That would be fun!

Hey guys, I have been on the site for awhile, but also know I am not first on your list of three. But I will be in Vegas the first week of football and could sign you guys up if needed. Wayne, if needed let me know. I will check the thread when I get back from Pebble Beach this weekend.

                Thanks

Last year there was a 3 way tie for first place, they split the money. I was on one of the teams if you have any questions.

                            An Even Better Challenge

The Hilton Superbook Contest was started sometime ago, almost 20 years, and its appeal used to be the $1,500 buy-in and exclusivity to those who could afford to get in and make a run at the title.

But this thing has been watered down and infiltrated by so many, that just about anybody can come up with $1,500 to enter and while Joe Schmo could win and then proclaim being a Handicapping champion for the next season, he also can blast legit cappers who get in the contest to display their picks.

The NEWEST CHALLENGE is in downtown Vegas, at the Golden Nugget, where they charge $5,000 for the same exact contest and realistically you're now vying for a real title against those who have the balls to pony up $5K.

Last year's was won by the HUGE betting group that had one person head in with the plays, which came down from the head honcho of the group. THIS WAS THE TOURNAMENT TO BE IN!

If you're going to take a shot, bring yous guns blazing to this one!
