The Yankees may have got lucky and won tonight, but you know, having watched them all year, I wouldn't take them if they were were 10-1 or even 15-1 to win the WS;it just isn't going to happen with the present team.

i dont think the Yankees make the playoffs.........Red Sox will make a trade or two to shore up their pen along with someone moving from the rotation to the pen when Schilling is ready.........Mets kinda gave the Yanks mouth to mouth tonight, theyre all excited about that win check out their quotes........I bet the Yanks at -110 for tomorrow thinking theyll stay sky high

this may be stupid but i really think the houston astros could make a run for the wild card like they did last year
if wash, st louis & sd win there divisions
there only competition is the braves, marlins and cubs
braves all rookies and pitching is depleted cause of injuries
marlins strong pitching but cant hit enough to put up the runs needed
cubs they play enough games against to make up the ground

pettitte, rodriguez, clemens, backe & oswalt is a sick rotation
these guys can shut you down

the team is better off w/o bagwell
berkman is getting healthy but the 2 biggest bats are ensberg & everett
but lamb & lane are solid also biggio starting to hit this team has some talent and should go on another run like last year in the second half
bullpen is solid w/harville, qualls, springer, wheeler & lidge closing
astros are +20,000 i have pissed away $100 many times if i am this time it will not be the worst case

I see your poimt, and less face it, if somehow the Stros just get in the playoffs(a big If), then with those odds there is no way you lose, as you get hedge bigtime and easily get your $100 back and a lot more.

your right it is a big if if they make it but they are in a better position this year then last year
