Chuck i am very sorry for your loss, But you seemed to have let her legacy live on through you with your daughter. Just remember everything you were taught from her and you will be fine. Its so funny how the elderly seem to have all of the knowledge of life. I lost my great grandmother 3 yrs ago and now i feel like its hard to ask someone else about life and what i need to do. Hope everything is ok with you

Sorry to hear about your Aunt Chuck. She sounds like she was a great person.
I just started a new job a few weeks ago and my boss left the day I started for Russia and adopted 2 kids. He just got back Monday.

I am very ignorant on this subject, but is the adoption process here in the US so screwed up that we need to go to Russia? I assume we have allot of kids looking for good homes here as well.

Willy, My daughter was from Moscow. My I was looking to adopt years ago, I paid $15,000 years ago to adopt here in the USA and just when I was about to pick up the child, I got a call from the agency that the woman changed her mind and I lost out on the money and the adoption. A friend of mine also adopted here in USA, and after having the child for 3 years , the mother showed up and got her back!! Pretty pathetic that we had to go to Russia to adopt, but I don't have to worry about losing her! While she has been growing up I have shown her pictures of where she came from and she understands!!
Thanks guys for all your condolences!!! Remember, What comes around, goes around.. and boy is that ever so true in life!

Thanks Big! I have noticed there are alot of young people on here that have some growing up to do!! And it doesn't hurt to pass a little wisdom around along the way! If everyone learns how to respect people, it makes it a hell of alot easier to live a happy life! And the forum will only keep growing and winning as one! The Konsenseus Kruise is a perfect example how we have rallied together as one to be a stronger and better unit!
